Run down property. Need of serious upgrades.

There was constant flooding in the hall between our wing to the main hall due to rolling thunderstorms. The gorge hike is disappointing - it’s only 0.68 miles because a stair bridge is broken so the guide stalls with nature talks because if you were to actually hike it, it would take less than 20 minutes to reach the broken stair bridge. The experiences such as axe throwing and zip line are over priced / not worth it. The archery was fun as they have animal targets. Bingo is fun and you can win prizes. The pool is nice but rolling thunderstorms limit your access in the afternoon (we went in August). We had connecting rooms and they were decent.

Easy check-in, convenient parking, and friendly staff. There is a good variety of bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. Bathroom and room were super clean and modernized. Definitely Recommend!

What are you waiting for? This place has been lovingly renovated. It is gorgeous. I’d love to see the Shasta Trailer turned in a food and beverage trailer and maybe a fire pit set up with party lights😁 My only real concern is that you find a way to extend the shower glass as no matter how careful you are, water goes out on the floor. I would want that corrected for its longevity. You have the formula, now quickly buy up more of the roadside oldies and get on with bringing them back to life. Bravo!! Get your reservation now.

Staff is always extremely nice. Parking lot is well lit. I love the fact that I could get into the building g and my room when the storm shut the lights off. I was safe and with my belongings!!

Brand new hotel with large and spacious rooms. I was in a king size room with an extremely comfortable and large bed. The furniture is new. The bathroom is clean and new. The cleanliness is perfect. The location is a little further from the center, it is very easy to get to anywhere in Roanoke. The staff is extremely friendly

It was like we had the whole place to ourselves! The hotel was definitely the highlight to our stay in Roanoke. My kids loved the refreshments. The hotel was beautiful, the bed & furniture were amazing and so comfortable. We did not have bedding the first night we were there for the pullout, not that my teenager cared, but we found someone doing housekeeping the following day and he was so nice and got it immediately.
