The room was absolutely beautiful! The decor and amenities were fantastic. They were kind enough to leave earplugs for folks who are sensitive to sound since the marina can get noisy. The only reasons for the discounted rating was the mattresses were very hard, old spring style mattresses, and a leaky shower faucet in a dated restroom. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind and the check in was the SMOOTHEST process ever! Other hotels need to take note! Thank you for a restful evening!

We had an excellent experience with our room. When we first arrived, we were very concerned because there was some slash burning smoke in the air, and I called and spoke to them about my concern. They were very patient. After checking our weather app, we thought we could see where the wind coming off the ocean would blow it out with a few hours. So everything worked out fine. We were impressed with all the attention to detail in the room to try to make it appear, clean and cozy. It also was easy to check in through text by giving us the room number and keypad number to unlock the room. We were able to park right outside our door and did not have to deal with steps, as you would and other motels in the area. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Diamond in the rough

Everything was perfect but the door knob was hard to turn when existing the hotel room so much I had to have my daughter turn the knob for me. If there was a fire…. I would still come back again. In hopes they would fix the issue.

There was a sheet and blanket and then a sheet and blanket so I’m pretty sure we were sleeping on the last guests sheets lol. The lights in the sink area didn’t work which the wife had to tell me about 47 times…. I would stay again. The wife not so much… lol. Great for fishing or enjoying garibaldi.

Really grateful for this property. We booked a hotel nearby that turned out to be overbooked so we were looking for another place to stay around 6pm on a labor day weekend. Staff was very helpful and the self check in process was very convenient.

Maybe skip staying in Garibaldi!

The location is not the greatest which we knew when planning our stay. The room was clean. The bathroom was terrible. The toilet was like the one from kindergarten. How can an adult sit that low to the ground? The shower curtain looked to be 35 years old. We needed to use the laundry machine. The problem is you need to get detergent before the staff leaves at 5pm which we did not know until they were gone. Staff does not stay on the premises. When my wife was blow drying her hair in the morning the circuit breaker tripped. No circuit breakers in the room and no staff on the premises. Had to try several numbers to find the on call person and 20 minutes later they reset the breaker. That was a first for us in all our years travelling. The beds were smaller than a regular queen and were very hard. That made it difficult to get any rest. Based on reviews, the other hotels are worse. We won't be staying in Garibaldi again.

Great stay! Would highly recommend. Wonderful amenities, walkable to the marina, restaurants, and views. A/C was appreciated as were the blackout shades. No contact check in was amazing.

The place is recently renovated with respect to paint, bedding, decor and has a cute beach vibe. Room was clean, some parts were dated. The room was spacious. Even had a fan which was appreciated and used. The beds were ok comfortable; however the pillows are not good. Bring your own to get a good nights sleep. We took a nice evening walk along the waterfront/ marina. Pretty views!
