This is an attractive old historic hotel, brimming with character. It’s old fashioned in its furnishings and charming. Such a nice change from all the cookie cutter modern chains.

It's not the best you'd expect, but for the price, it's well worth the value. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, breakfast choice is okay. I won't mind to go back & stay again.

Great rooms in nicely maintained older building. Had biscuits and gravy for breakfast which were home made and delicious. It's always nice to take a step away from the corporate chains and find a hidden gem like this. Definitely would recommend.

If you are looking for a luxurious stay, this is not the place. It is old and run down and needs some TLC. However, the bed was clean and and the staff was helpful and kind. It was also in a fantastic location-walkable to restaurants and the wharf. It was fine for a quick one night stay in beautiful Florence.

The hotel is located a short, walkable distance from Old Town. It was great to be able to stretch our legs after the drive down the coast and explore Bay Street for our dinner. Eric is a marvelous host and was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. The room was not luxurious, but we would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is not one I would stay in again : the bed was comfortable but the room was hot the windows have no screens so bugs were in the room flying around all night, the place smells old and musty, there was mold in the bathroom in the shower on the tile and window sill.

The rooms were very rustic and it was dirty. I didn’t want to walk around without shoes on. Cobwebs and dead bugs. Shower good pressure except out of the shower head. Filled bathtub up.

6/10 Okay

Disliked: Amenities
Bathroom soap dispensers did not work at all and the tops are locked so you can’t just dump some into your hand to get by. Dishes had hair on them and one bowl had rusty water in it. Beds are very loud and squeaky any roll over or adjustment sounds like LA traffic. And all for $250 a night. But I didn’t have to sleep outside so there is that.
