Room was very clean, bed felt fresh and very comfortable, location ideal to downtown Florence and also the State Parks, Dunes + So Jetty (crabbing dock, trails + beach). The warm breakfast was a nice amenity but only one small omelet per guest rule (understandable but I had a guest with me that wasn’t able to come down for breakfast and I was bringing a plate to) and the attendants were very wary on every trip you made to the food line which made it a little uncomfortable. They put very small portions of food out and the hotel was full! That was really the only qualm of the stay I had. Oh and maybe that there was no real view to the Siuslaw River because of overgrown trees. We were out running around finding our own views so this worked well for us anyhow!

This is the 5th Thanksgiving we have stayed at this hotel. While we do like it and LOVE the fresh omelette station for breakfast and gluten free options, the cleanliness and quality has deteriorated these last couple years. The rooms have gotten a bit dingy and the stairs a little rickety. The pool and spa have way too much chlorine… we smelled of bleach for two days after using them even after having taken multiple showers. Despite this we would still stay here again.

This is an old motel trying to pass itself off as something better just because of the brand name. The rooms feel outdated, the maintenance is poor, and the overall experience doesn’t match the reputation you’d expect. Definitely not worth the price or the brand’s hype.

had to walk down 4 flights of stairs to get to spa. Then walk back up 4 flights of stairs. UGH! Room was nice. Bathroom door sticks, so makes sound when opening closing, waking up others. Omelets were excellent.
