What an awful place. They put a large family group on the second floor without elevators. The pool is a full trip through locker rooms, with naked people everywhere. And according to my kids, the place is haunted. They claim a dead old man is stuck between the walls. Kept us up all night. They never have nightmares like that. Nowhere to get work done. Parking far from check-in. No A/C! All around wish I passed on this one

Beim check out wusste man davon nichts.

Nice grounds, but that is about it.

The building and the grounds are lovely, and the interior is ok. It is a pity that the inside of the hotel did not see the same level of investment. The main issues for me were: * The bedroom lacked air conditioning, and the furniture looked like it belonged to a 1-star hotel: terrible taste and quality. * The food was ok, but nothing special at all. I can cook better at home. Dinner was quite ordinary, and breakfast was very disappointing. * The spa has a nice pool and jacuzzi, but the sauna was just a build-up wooden cabin that one could have at home. It fits at the most about 4 or 5 people if you squeeze. * The interior decoration could have been nicer. They have lovely arches that are hardly brought to life. Overall, I don't believe the hotel was worth £100+ for the night.

Gutes Frühstück in schöner Umgebung. Minus: kein Aufzug vorhanden und unangenehme Geruchsbelästigung vom benachbarten landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb.
