I like that the room has a full kitchen. It saves alot on meals, and the staff is always super helpful.

The hotel was clean and attractive overall. The staff was also very kind, helpful, and friendly overall. However, the glass shower wall in the bathroom collapsed and smashed, spewing glass far into the room (luckily, while I was out). When I told the front desk, the person there was horrified, and immediately upgraded me to a suite. This sounds like great service, but the hotel general manager happened to come along while I was speaking with the front desk person. He expressed no surprise that my bathroom was filled with broken glass. "This happens a lot," he said. As compensation, he paid for one drink at the bar. The suite I was moved to had the SAME glass shower, but I was assured that "this one won't shatter." The front desk person could not give me any reason why she was sure about this. Other staff members confirmed that this had been happening for years; there were FOUR shower door collapses in the last two weeks, and the management was only replacing doors as they broke (sometimes with people in the bathroom!), because it was "too expensive" to replace all the doors, which were known to be defective. I was not warned about the danger of the door shattering. I saw someone checking in, and saw that they were not warned either. The management of this hotel has chosen to put guests in danger rather than spend the money to fix the problem. I spoke to 5 employees altogether, and they ALL confirmed this was a regular occurence. Your guests are in danger!

The staff was so nice, friendly and very helpful But the rooms could use a facelift- very old Toilet, carpet snd even doors and locks were Difficult-

I have stayed here now three time, there is one staff person I truly think amazing and is always accommodating and delightful. My rooms in the past have been dirty and not cleaned properly. I’m glad to say that this time the room was clean. It was my first experience here where I wasn’t grossed out. We did have an issue with the toilet running and not stopping. Maintaince came by and determined a part needed to be replaced. But the part replacement wasn’t in stock in the building and needed to be ordered. The hotel was sold out so we couldn’t get a new room. We did manage to get the toilet to stop running (as it was very loud and couldn’t sleep with it on). Glad to say the issue resolved and it shut off without issues the rest of our stay. I would suggest the prior to the big parent weekend for Syracuse University where hotel is fully booked to stock up on parts with maintenance to avoid issues. Goi n forward. All in all our stay went well. Appreciated the clean room and friendly staff we encountered during our stay. Please think about getting larger towels for bathrooms, topping off shower gels and shampoos on major weekends, (shower gel ran out in our bathroom). Or provide more than two towels. The size of the towels are small and I myself need two towels one for hair one for body. I would also recommend having air fryer available in lobby for guest to use. Or toaster oven. Some leftovers don’t heat well in microwave.
