Great kids pool, breakfast good, hotel TLC needed

We had a nice stay here. The rooms could use better cleaning and better service in the hotel. I had a clogged toilet I had to wait over an hour to have unclogged and the maintenance man fixed it but left a mess. One of our rooms keys would not work do they moved us to another room giving a free upgrade which was great service by the manager. The breakfast was good and the pool was the best family pool I’ve been to in a smaller hotel! The kids had a blast with the slide and water features! A couple of suggestions: your room curtains need to be shortened over the wall unit for cooling and heat. It is annoying to have to stack the curtains on top of the wall unit so you can feel the air. This would be an easy adjustment and would make your hotel look like planning took place. The stairwell is very dirt and beat up. I recommend painting it which would significantly enhance the overall feel. Overall a nice stay but could use some TLC.

Great hotel!

The rooms were clean and very nice! The beds were comfortable. The pool was great and my 10 month old loved it! A nice shallow end and some fun water features. There was a little kiosk in the lobby with items avaliable for purchase. Breakfast was great! Lots of options and the food was delicious.

Was it worth it. Maybe...

Well started out with easy check in. Prooerty looked old but clean. Staff was busy doing what they do. Was able to do a early check in. That was very helpful. Room appeared Tidy and neat. Could use a deep clean. Some towels were what appeared to be coffee stained or maybe make up. That was weird.Then came time to rest. No sleep. Beds are uncomfortable. AC could keep the dead awake. I know because after day 2 of enjoying the local enjoyments I was dead tired. But no sleep. Maybe Im just a lite sleeper. But it is conveniently located with everything you need close by. The breakfast was definitely not great. Get rid of those eggs! Coffee choice is not good either. With a few tweaks this could be a gem. But as of now its a overpriced no worth it place to stay.

I did not like the fact that the deposit was not on my itinerary. so I was unaware of the $150.00 deposit until I got to the property. Other than that I loved the breakfast and my kids loved the pool. thank you!

Room was good, breakfast was great. Only major gripe we had was the pool area was really loud and so slippery it was borderline dangerous. I don't know who thought using paint as a deck coat was a good idea, but they should consider retirement. We chose the hotel solely based on the pool so that was kind of a bummer. Overall a good stay though!

Disappointing

Check in with quick and went well. When arriving our room, our TV wasn’t working but maintenance came up quick and fixed that. Pool area was great for our small children. After returning to the room after swimming we realized the bathroom was quite dirty and our knob to the shower did not work as it should and had to take freezing cold showers. When we got into bed there was a glasses cleaner cloth in between the bed sheets so it was apparent they were not changed. Did not notify the staff at that time due to two exhausted children so we slept with kids blankets we brought. Notified staff at check out, she just said she would let maintenance know. Do not recommend, especially for the price I would paid for a dirty room.

This property is in poor condition. The carpet in the room was ripped and torn. All the furniture was damaged. There is only one elevator servicing all the floors. The pool had a moldy smell. Price couged due to the baseball college championship week.

The location is great, staff was helpful when checking in and when my room key didn’t work, the rooms were clean, breakfast was good but some stuff ran out (there was a lot of people there so it’s to be expected and staff tried to keep up). I also felt safe in the area and in my room. I will be recommending and returning here.
