"Hotel with a view"
Hotel had a beautiful view of the river and ocean. Had kayak rentals on property that you could take on the river. Staff at the desk were very helpful. Pointed out the places to visit and restaurants to go for dinner. Nice visit but too short.

"Perfect Getaway"
We stayed in a very roomy suite. It was exactly want we wanted for our small group. Walking distance to the beach at low tide was great and then relaxing pool side in the afternoon was so wonderful. The outdoor pool was extremely clean and so big. We will be back!!

"Cute B&B"
Nice B&B. Great breakfast in the main house. Rooms are nicely done. The sheets on the bed need to be updated desperately. They were pilling badly and not soft... even shed on my sweatpants. Found that to be odd since all else was great. Seems like a very quick fix! Staff was sweet. Wifi is strong in lobby and first floor only. Spotty elsewhere. Could get a stronger router. Liked the baked goods in the lobby everyday.. Nice touch. Would be nice to have a jug of water nearby those as well.

"More like home than a hotel"
Rachel at the front desk was great at check-in, quick, informative, and helpful. Kids love the amenities, a warm pool off the lobby and a hot tub in the room. They also love signing out the free DVDs to watch while soaking in the tub. The private master bedroom is great for Mom and Dad. We've joined a few of the daily activities in the past and the kids like those too, crafts, bingo, etc. It's perfect for us and we hope to be back soon.

Abalonia - Ogunquit Hotels
Rating: 3.0 Stars

268 Main Street, Ogunquit - Map
"Charming inn close to beach"
I have never been met with more open, friendly, helpful staff in a hotel in my life and I have traveled all over the world, 5 star to no star. The Abalonia is a wonderful, old, seaside house. The grounds are lovely; there is even a pool in case the ocean is too cold. The inn itself is immaculate. There is air conditioning in each room. There is a small kitchen in the lobby that provides coffee, tea and muffins in the morning. The only drawbacks are out of the control of the innkeepers. The Abalonia in on Main Street, literally. During summer the area is very active until quite late at night. So, even with air conditioning it can be noisy. The old house is in very good repair, but it lacks the sound insulating aspects that modern construction provides, so if you have a noisy guest, a night owl, or altercating couple above you, you may not be able to enjoy your sleep. Getting up early in the morning, a short walk brings you to several places open for breakfast before 7am. Walk a bit farther and you are at the beach, a beautiful, long, gorgeous beach. All is forgiven.

"Clean and quiet in the heart of Ogunquit."
The hotel is spacious and inviting. The indoor pool and small deck with a jacuzzi are added touches. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast is just enough to get one's day started. The prices are fair for the services, amenities, and hotel location.

Ogunquit is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Ogunquit, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Ogunquit hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
