Excellent hotel

This was a fantastic place to stay. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the room and bed was very comfortable. The closet space was also plentiful. The WiFi was very stable and fast and easily handled video calls. The restaurant downstairs served great dinners and had very friendly staff.

A good place to spend a night or two in Nuuk

This is a no thrills hotel, the room was comfortable, even included a kitchenette. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was kinda boring, even though the pastries were very good. We stayed for two nights, there room was not made, which is disappointing.

I liked their service it’s 24/7 and reception is very helpful to find taxi at anytime. Also unlike Iceland it’s reasonable price and friendly intimate atmosphere. Room is spacious with kitchen and property features a fabulous restaurant. I will be back here again.

"Deluxe" Apartments are dirty, old, and run down

This place does not match the pictures! They are very overpriced and use deceptive pictures. Our "deluxe" apartment was downright gross. The bathroom was dirty and full of mildew, the walls had exposed insulation, the window faced a dumpster, there were small holes in the walls, etc. The breakfast buffet was sad, there was no airport transfers, etc. This place was expensive and the same price as our much nicer hotel earlier in the week. BEWARE!

Nice comfy, clean hotel. Heated floors in the bathroom was a nice touch. Only issue was the broken reading light in the bedroom. FYI we had to pay for coffee from the machine downstairs.

Great hotel!

Hotel Nordbo was such a lifesaver! So much of our trip was derailed because of weather issues. The hotel went the extra mile to help us along the way. They emailed the airline on our behalf when we hadn't gotten updated information, they helped make travel arrangements around town, and they made our comfort a priority. I think they have the most helpful staff I've encountered at any hotel. I really really appreciate their consideration and recommend this hotel to anyone in Nuuk. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it felt so nice to come back to the hotel every evening.

Very uncomfortable beds. Restaurant unavailable to guests for private events - in a town with very limited options. Very nice staff.

Nuuk is a very small town and everything is walkable from the hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had all basic amenities including a small kitchen with a stove top, mini-fridge and things like dishes, pots, water kettle, utensil and kitchen towels! Staff was very friendly but the real test of a business is when something goes wrong. Our flight out with Air Greenland was cancelled and that’s when Laura with the front desk took service to another level. She helped us with many things like calling the hotel and tour operators in Ilulissat so we could notify them of our cancellation, helped us with getting hotel and food vouchers from the airline which we would not have know about until to late, recommended and booked restaurants, booked activities we could do since we now had more time, and had to help many other people with the same stuff because of the airline cancellation. She did all this with a smile and extreme patience.

Ingen shampoo og conditioner. Kun een sæbe og denne ikke individuel, selvom man skal bruge sæbe i både køkken og badeværelse. Ulideligt varmt, da klimastyring ikke virkede (selvom vi havde meddelt det). Restauranten var lukket begge dage. 10 min gang til centrum Ok wifi Tidlig check-ud
