I would like to thank Mike and the owners for providing an affordable and clean space for our four day stay in Burlington. We were pleased with the clean room and bathroom, as well as the strong hot water. The location was ideal for visits to downtown Burlington and the adjacent towns. Manager Mike was also very good at communicating and providing anything that we needed. Don’t be put off by the lack of a 24 hour designed reception area. This worked out fine!

Outbound is a great addition to the lodging options in wonderful Stowe. The property is large with great facilities, from the front desk area, to the bar and restaurant on property. Our room was fantastic, very spacious and quite comfortable. The location is convenient to town. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on future visits to Stowe.

Booked a room for the weekend for our anniversary. The staff were great, location is good. The rooms were not well appointed. Paid for a king suite and the only thing in the room was a bed and small bench at the foot of it. The floors were damaged and chipped. The bathroom was small and filthy. The walls and ceiling are incredibly thin. We were constantly being woken up by the movement of other guests above and beside us. The amenities were fine but the lower bar and communal area wasn’t available for a period due to a private event. Not the best place to stay and not the cheapest either.

Decor and interiors are used and abused. Walls are thin: guests beside and above you are overheard consistently. There was an AC mini split in the room, ours, did not work. There was a window shaker AC taped into the window. It did a less than great job keeping the room cool. This hotel is not crisp and clean! Totally smells old on couches and when you walk in. The fire place and spa are literally a whole in the ground and the pictures shown online are misleading.

I would have given this resort 4 star as it is beautiful with a great indoor, outdoor pool, jacuzzi with a water fall, great views, Restaurant (Pablo gave excellent service) and nice rooms. I did give them a 3 star as the staff both at checkin and checkout were dismissive and not helpful to point out where things are and just unfriendly. Mostly don’t accept room 210! The resort wasn’t even full (confirmed by mgr) and they assign us this room, overlooking the parking lot! Knowing they have a bike tour staying with them that started loading up right outside our window at 6am and at 7:30am trucks backing in and out! When I told the supervisor at checkout he was very dismissive and didn’t even have an explanation of why we were given this room when he confirmed resort was not full.

Fabulous location right on Main Street, and a charming room. Plus reserved parking. This is our 5th visit to The Butler House, loved it!
