Old motel, comfy sleeping

Old motel, comfy beds/pillows. Being in the beach means sand everywhere…but upon entry floor was mildly sandy already. I understand it is hard to keep sand out, so try swifter. The kitchenette availability was nice considering the price, but offer a kitchen towel for drying and maybe some soap for dishwashing as a standard.

This places was terrible. I pulled up and pulled out! It looked like a trap house(drug house). People fixing cars in the parking out, people hanging out in the wall way, police presence( btw its 100 degrees outside)....I did not feel safe staying there. I end up having to book another place. I reached out to Expedia as soon as I saw the location was a trap house opened a ticket then I wake to a missed call from.tbis location at 12:45am..... UNACCEPTABLE . Trying to get a refund from Expedia but not being successful due to location policy which is crazy to me! I feel due to Expedia representing them I should be able to get a total refund! I would not recommend this locatiom to ANYONE!

So on my way up to Indiana i stayed here and really enjoyed, yes it was dirty..not in the best part of town but for the price i could handle it so on the way back i stayed again..total different experience..people that live there started asking for cigarettes, money and to use my phone, im disabled didn't want any trouble so i played nice. ..the evening before i was scheduled to leave as i was packing my car..a group of four guys came out and yelled hes leaving, 3 more guys came out and surrounded my car..i knew i was in trouble..i ran(as best as i can run) to the office..they wouldn't let me in until i said i would call 911, they let me in, walked with me to my room, the guys were still around my car..as i got a few more of my items the employee was laughing with the guys, so i left things that i could replace, got in my car and left, the next day i got a phone call from the owner he stated that if i wasnt back to pick my stuff up that they would give it away and charge me for another day..i was still shaking So no i didn't go back and got charged for another day..remember i said i let one guy use my phone..I still get calls( i guess they saved my #.. ) PLEASE BEWARE!!

First night room had vinyl plank flooring and it had holes in the floor about golf ball size.They found me another room. Second night the freezer was frozen open so I needed to defrost/ chip the ice away so the door shut.rooms were dirty and found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom during the night. They advertised as newly remodeled. They refused to refund my last night stay and I went to a different cleaner motel!
