Heat and cooling in room a mess, no creamer for coffee, hidden fees, room very loud and hard to sleep due to traffic. Streets blocked/closed all around and hard to walk. I've been to NOLA many times and this was worst accommodations.

Convenient location to both Bourbon St and Frenchman St (especially Frenchman St), without being loud at night. Very comfortable mattresses. Great place to stay in the French district. The phone-based lock system didn’t work in our room but they gave us a fob that worked fine, so no big deal. Good price for what you get.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Its location was a good walking distance from just about anywhere in the Quarter. I was so impressed with housekeeping, they kept our towels stocked and fresh and our room cleaned daily. The AC worked well, a little too well at times lol! But not a complaint :) My only gripes would be that our neighbors were very loud (not the hotels fault, some people just can’t talk below a mild roar or realize yelling down the hallway isn’t appropriate at midnight). The rooms are a little plainly decorated and the bed was not awful, but not the most comfortable thing ever either. I also wish the bar would’ve been open during our stay. A bathtub would have been a nice addition as well. Overall, I had a lovely experience at Le Richelieu and I would definitely return to this hotel!

VERY WARM WELCOME BY MARISOL AT FRONT DESK. EARLY CHECK-IN TOO, AND GAVE ME A GREAT ROOM WITH A BALCONY. REBECCA AT THE FRONT DESK WAS ALSO VERY WARM AND FRIENDLY. AMAZING!! ROOMS AND COMMON AREAS ARE KEPT VERY CLEAN. THIS HOTEL IS PERFECTLY LOCATED IN THE FRENCH QUARTER.

The hotel and service was great!!!! Location is creepy. But the hotel was great!!! U would 100% stay again. Now i know what to expect of the area tho. There are some late night food spots and frenchmen st is close too!!

Great spot and rooms were recently renovated. Cool old hotel with great French Quarter vibes. Peaceful and as quiet as you can get in the French Quarter. Shower had great water pressure and the bed was comfortable.

We always enjoy le richeliu. We’ve stayed here twice a year for many years. The parking is accessible, it is walkable to area restaurants and attractions.
