We had a wonderful stay at the Faraway in Nantucket. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and full of charm. The location couldn't be better—it's an easy walk to the local shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, making it simple to explore everything downtown Nantucket has to offer. The combination of a lovely property and a perfect location made for a fantastic stay. We would definitely return!

The room I got was relatively small for the price, but you do know that in advance. They have different bedding options. It was clean and air-conditioned and had everything you needed. My only complaint was dim lighting in the bathrooms, but otherwise it was a great stay.

There needs to be a notification that you will share a bathroom with other guests, there is no food on the property and often your garbage is not picked up from your room.

Cute dog friendly boutique hotel in the heart of town, super convenient and vibey. Service is very “hands off” so don’t expect anyone to go out of the way for you. Rooms had very thin walls and you can hear everything including neighbours and street noise. The restaurant and patio is very nice for a sit welcoming guests outside the hotel as well. It would be nicer if it had more of an intimate personal hotel feel for guests with special perks or discounts on drinks / food. Quite overpriced for what you get but that is the island overall.

The Faraway was a very beautifully appointed Boutique hotel and we loved our stay here. The rooms are small especially if you have large suitcases but very charming and the courtyard is a really fun place to hang out. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Nantucket. The staff were a little unresponsive and often seemed to be unsure how to help. One day our room was not made up despite us being out all day. Otherwise I highly recommend the Faraway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Was trying to check in and no one was there . Waited an hour and someone on the phone told me I should stay somewhere else after paying cause no one was answering the phone at the hotel to let me check in. Thank god I had friends on the island that came and got me. By far never experienced that in my life

The main courtyard area/bar was an absolute zoo from 5pm on. This is the second time I stayed there in 3 years, and both times i got rooms (different locations) on the street that were excruciating loud. Garbage pick up at 641 everyday outside my window, not to mention other deliveries in the early am is too much for me when I’m on vacation. It’s a nice hotel and i bet there are some quiet rooms, but now that I am 0-2, I will chose another place to stay.
