Dirty, no elevator, took pleading to get a room on 1st floor. Breakfast was very lacking for healthy choices. Plumbing and facet handles seem to be barely on and very loose. TV cables were not even close to being hooked up right, but I was able to work around that one.

Excellent experience overall.

The place is quite run down and had a distinct musty smell to the room. The building is in a definite need of renovations. On the upside, the breakfast vouchers for Dennys was a nice touch.

Loved the food, pool, and staff was extraordinary. Made my family and I feel safe and comfortable.

Paid for the room with jacuzzi tub. The tub sounded like you were flying in an airplane. So loud to the point I couldn’t use the jacuzzi. Additionally, when I first turned it on a big wad of hair shot out of the jets. Sort of gross. Staff was friendly and helpful but don’t recommend paying the extra money for the jacuzzi tub. Definitely not worth it.

The only thing I can say is that I bet this place was beautiful when it opened, the appearance from the outside looks more updated than the inside. The design of the building and the breakfast area is lovely, it’s just too bad that there isn’t funds to do the upkeep to the carpets and dining booths, I’m not saying that it isn’t clean, it just needs new flooring and some repairs. I bet when there was a restaurant lounge it was a pretty happening place. I cannot complain about the price (just over $200 for 2 night)and maybe that reflects the improvements/mantienece that needs to be done. I would stay there again, staff was kind, biscuits and gravy looked great!
