"Charming, Rustic Hotel in Wine Country"
My husband and I stayed here 2 nights as our home base to explore the wine country. The hotel is off the beaten path, very private, with beautiful views of the vineyards. Even so, it is walkable (.6 miles) to downtown Montipulciano. The owner is very hospitable and the rooms were rustic yet comfortable.

Bed & Breakfast Vicolo dell’Oste

Via Dell'Oste 1, Montepulciano - Map
"Beautiful spot right in the heart of the town."
First of all the thing you should know is that the town is a walled city like most of the towns in Tuscany. It is difficult to know where to park when you first get there. We ended up parking down at the bottom of the hill and only bringing a couple of backpacks with us up to the room. When we got there Luisa and Guiseppe were so nice, Luisa even came with me to move my car to someplace closer, and when there were no more spots gave up her spot and had me park there and then drove us back up to the hotel. The hotel is situated right in the middle of the town so you can walk to anything you need. The rooms are nice and have everything you need, it's quaint and clean and up a small alleyway. Louisa gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to see. We loved it so much we booked another night for our last night in Tuscany. There are many places to stay in the area, but the people really make this one stand out.

"Great Farmstead in an excellent location"
We had a fabulous stay at Villa Di Nottola and would rank it 5 out of 5 if the rooms were of a slightly higher standard. The room suited us perfectly but it might not be for everyone. Our hosts were wonderful and made some excellent suggestions for local towns to visit, the food and wine was the best we had on our trip, and for the best price!

Podere Fontecastello

Via Acqua Puzzola 3, Montepulciano - Map
"Quiet hotel 15-min walk from city"
We had a lovely stay at Podere Fontecastello. The Fontecastello is a (steep) 15 minute walk from the edge of the city, very do-able. It allowed us to not have to take our car into the city. Staff was great, room very clean and breakfast was always nice to have. Keep in mind the breakfast in Italy is light - cookies, bread, jams and yogurt. Bed was not too comfortable for myself, but my husband liked the bed. There is no air conditioning, only a fan. But the way that the Fontecastello is built keeps the rooms cool during the hot summer months. Pool was lovely. Pet-friendly hotel. Would stay again!

"A great find. Good facilities and excellent hosts"
We stayed here just one night whilst touring Tuscany. A lovely location convenient for local towns and routes and a few kilometres from Montepulciano. Dinner excellent with good local foods and their own family produced wines. Try th 'Nobile Di Montepulciano ' they produce, it's excellent. Overall a lovely place to stay. The standard rooms are a little basic but overall an excellent hotel with a nice pool.

Borgo delle More

Via di Montenero 18, Montepulciano - Map
"Beautiful hotel on the toscana"
We love the place the moment we arrive, just in the middle on the country surrounded by vineyards, olives trees incredible landscapes, extremely quiet, in the nearby restaurants amazing food. in the reception of the hotel they have a good selection of vines from their own manufacture, we definitely will come back. the only thing that needs to be addressed is that int the info page of the hotel they should recommend to have a car when visiting the place that would be helpful to now before.

Montepulciano is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Montepulciano, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Montepulciano hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
