This was an okay stay. Pool was open one day and closed the rest of the time. Not close to much so you will need a car. Cookies in the lobby is a nice touch. Breakfast was so-so. I slept well and the shower was good.

The view was amazing. Additionally the attentiveness of the team was amazing. I am looking to rebook soon!

Giving 5 stars because its a very clean and well maintained property. Staff are very professional. I only wish if they can offer cribs for babies and put some high chairs in the breakfast area. My 1 year old had to sleep on the floor because the bed is not safe and he could fall. Other places have cribs that why I thought that this hotel will have it too. If we plan to stay there again we will have to take a foldable pack and play with us, we need to figure out how to make if fit in the car though!

Way too many kids for empty nesters

Calling this a "resort" is misleading. It is essentially a motel on the lake. We took the only room available, which happened to be an accessible room, and discovered that it had no closet whatsoever. There were two short hooks on the wall made out of plumbing pipes where you are supposed to hang all your clothes. This was very disappointing and a constant nuisance, and not something you would ever expect in a real "resort." The room was pretty clean except for the bathroom floor, which needed cleaning. Since the bathroom was "accessible," there was no sill or barrier to keep the water from running out onto the floor. This is understandable, but the water actually ran under the bathroom door, and out the main entry door into the hall. Our showers created a small puddle in the hall every morning. The sliding glass door out to the lake was old and difficult to slide open or closed. The backyard area down to the beach was actually pretty nice. There were sitting areas and a small lawn between the back door and the beach. The beach was fine. The free continental breakfast was nothing special. We were there 4 nights and the pastries were always a little stale. We paid over $450 per night, It should be more like $200 at most.
