The room was clean, but the comforter had seen better days. After settling into the room, I went to turn on the lamp to do some hand work. I noticed that there was no light bulb! Went to the desk to ask for one and he said I don't have any. The Maintenace person will be in at 9am Saturday and will fix it. Got back Sat. nit and no bulb! Went to the desk and asked same guy I need a light bulb. He said sheepishly the Maintenace guy doesn't work on Sat. He then went to another room to get one!

The TV in lounge was blasting all night! Could hear it in thin walls in our room. No one watching it! Why isnt it turned off? No one available at desk at arrival during day hours. Persons were out smoking right at entrance by trash cans as we arrived and again when we left. That’s unattractive.

Bed was clean and hotel was mostly quiet. The whole place was pretty worn out, for instance the chair was completely worn through on the corners of the chair back, the sink was rusty and the a/c sounded like it was struggling mightily.

The entire building smelled overwhelmingly of bleach and the rooms were even worse. The bleach was covering up a very mildewy smell. I was in our room for less than 5 minutes before I got a headache and dizzy so we ended up leaving. The building also felt very damp. I still haven’t gotten a refund for the night we didn’t stay - it’s been a week.

Not bad, but needs improvement

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, there were no towels in the room upon my check-in and I had to request them at the front desk. Also, my room was a suite, but the only available trash can was a tiny one in the bathroom. The light fixture above the kitchenette sink was missing its bulb. Luckily I was able to do my food prep at the desk, which had its own lamp and plenty of light.

Its location is very convenient for driving, dining, and shopping. Ample parking. The "breaker" kept shutting off the electricity in the dining room resulting in cold coffee and no waffles. Stale bagels. No stopper in the bathroom sink, say goodbye to anything dropped there. Bed sheets with holes. No maid service for 3 days. Room so small we could barely get the suitcase cart into the room. Very little seems to have been reinvested into property upkeep.
