I had stayed in this Red Lion multiple times about 10-20yrs ago and it was such a lovely hotel. I think that just exacerbated my recent stay. The hotel is in such a great location but it hasn't been updated since the last time I was there. Bed was ok, I can't say it was uncomfortable but I certainly didn't look forward to it after a long day. The sheets are cheap, and while it wasn't the end of the world, there weren't any outlets on one side of the bed so you had to charge your phone elsewhere. It was clean-ish, as long as you didn't look too close. It was just a really sad sight to see what used to be such a beautiful hotel look like a washed up prom queen. We booked through Expedia and we paid for breakfast but the hotel no longer serves breakfast. I'm sure the effort isn't worth trying to get my money back from being overcharged by Expedia but just be aware they don't have any of those amenities.

Room was modern & clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of free parking.

Clean room and great staff

The check in went smooth, they asked about our room area preference which was thoughtful for a light sleeper like me, and the room was clean and well located. Nothing negative to comment on. Just the suggestion of adding a protein option to their breakfast selection.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at LiveAway Suites. Unfortunately, the room I was assigned had a constant loud humming noise that seemed to be coming from either the air conditioner or a ceiling vent. It made it difficult to relax and sleep, so I didn’t get the restful night I was hoping for. I let the front desk know, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They genuinely wanted to help, but they didn’t have another room available that evening. That said, I think this hotel is a great option for travelers who are staying for work or an extended visit. I travel frequently for work, and I appreciated having the extra space, the apartment style layout, and the larger refrigerator. It’s especially convenient if you like to bring your own groceries or pack lunches instead of eating out every day. If the noise issue had not been a factor, my stay would have been much more enjoyable. The staff’s professionalism made a positive impression, and I hope the maintenance issue in that room is addressed for future guests.
