Quiet place, amazing view

Overall experience was goo.

I wasn't sure about the location being a bit separated from the main tourist drag but that ended up being the best part about the Hotel Nikko. My room had a direct view of the beach and because the hotel wasn't close to others on Tumon Bay, it felt like it's own private tropical cove, with stunning views of the ocean, from sunrise to sunset, with no other hotels in sight. I could have sat on my balcony for hours staring at the changes in the water, clouds and light. (Actually, I did.) The pool and water slide were total bonus points and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. It may not be the most modern hotel but it is well maintained and the location and views more than made up for it. It felt like a hidden gem. I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate you. I did not have the opportunity to use their pool, but it looked beautiful.

Check in process was a little slow as check in was at 3pm & my room wasn’t ready until almost 5pm. I stayed in the infinity tower. (The side that looks more dated.) There was a musky type of feel in the room as the AC was leaking. There were several small roaches in my room. Overall , staff was nice & lobby was clean! But I do believe the more dated tower should be renovated so the price could match the quality . I probably wouldn’t stay there again but it’s there if you’re just trying to find somewhere to lay your head .

I told them to extend my stay as soon as I checked in and they said they did unbeknownst to me they did not extend my stay like they said they did until it was too late and everything was booked including other hotels. They didn't compensate me for my inconvenience in anyway, they did not even apologize. The place was leaking everywhere, my room had a quarter inch of water when I woke up from a nap coming from the closed sliding glass door.

The whole place needs an upgrade.
