Amazing location on the coast. Great Views everywhere you look. Be sure to grab ice at the desk if needed, there was no ice machine near our room. Also, restaurant has limited hours of service, so make sure you check in advance.

Pine Beach Inn

My mom and I stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend. They let us in almost an hour before check in time which was very convenient. The room was pretty big, with a good size balcony from where we could enjoy beautiful ocean views. The small private beach is very nice, we would go there every morning and evening even when it rained. The hotel grounds are nice, with many flowered bushes and trees. The hotel itself is quiet old and needs some innovations. But for the price we payed it's good enough.

"Lovely Live Folk Music During Sunday Breakfast!"
By far the highlight of this experience was the lovely folk music surprise on Sunday morning. Holly was SO sweet! She had some really interesting stories behind her songs and it was just a lovely way to wake up in the morning. She is the real deal, having spent the 70's in Haight Ashbury and Berkeley and tons of great tunes inspired by these times and nowadays. We were here for a wedding, so the price was just right. Our bed was super comfy. I just wish the grounds had been a bitter better kept up, maybe the rusty bicycles tossed and the lights working. Other than that, I LOVE this place!

"Amazing Hospitality and Rooms in Mendocino"
Needed 2 rooms in Mendocino for a relative's wedding. Our expectations were far exceeded by the Nicholson House location, quality of breakfast (homemade granola and local foods) and staff (and owner too.) Definitely would stay here again when visiting the area.

The location is fantastic, but the room are very small compared with the pictures that you see when you book the rooms. Also, the victorian room are over the kitchen and there is a strong vibration all the day (ending around 10:40pm and restarting after 7am). So, it is very nice, but it should be definitely improved.

"Great choice!"
My husband and I booked our stay at North Cliff randomly - we were traveling down from Shasta, got caught in a snowstorm and needed a rest after all that skidding around. We booked a king room with a spa tub overlooking the bay. It was beautiful! The spa was deep enough for my huge husband, the fireplace was functional and toasty, the window overlooking the ocean gave us a view of whales spouting (really!), the king bed was firm but not too firm with a memory foam feel, and there were SEVEN king sized pillows. There were clean white bathrobes waiting for us in the closet, a microwave and a fridge. We loved it. Many hotels offer continental breakfast as part of the room rate. North Cliff has a real breakfast, with someone there making waffles to order, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausages, a toaster for the various breads and muffins, cereal, fresh fruit, juices, coffee and a choice of teas. I highly recommend North Cliff.

"Very Nice"
It is a wonderful quiet place with beautiful gardens. It is close the many things within walking distance. They give you a 15% off at the Medocino Holel~Bistro. We went for dinner and then for breakfast. Parking is very open so do not need to worry about leaving and coming back and not finding a spot. I will definitely go back!

"Charming wild west motif motel in pricey Mendocino"
Read the reviews and accommodations were not disappointing. Stayed two nights as it was a first trip to this area of coastal CA. Seniors traveling with our large standard poodle dog, the Livery (one of a few of their dog friendly rooms) was perfect for us. large comfy bed, beautiful quiet view out the window, lovely woodstove that kept us warm (also had excellent heating system) and bar fridge and microwave for preparing dog food and simple heat up meals. The motel is not walking distance to the town basically because of the VERY heavy traffic on Route 101 (and fast traffic) but it's a quick 5 minute drive to town. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and the check in was fast and we entered our room and found some lovely homemade cookies and muffins. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room with the usual coffee maker and a nice touch was a set of real china dishes and cutlery. Crisp clean sheets and meticulous housekeeping all round. Highly recommended. UNLESS you are one of those travellers that like brand new bland hotel rooms Blackberry is such a charming change from cookie cutter motels/hotels. We also loved the quiet residential area where the motel is situated and I got an excellent value on the 2 nights. When in town I checked prices in other hotels and vacation rentals and realized how reasonably priced this little motel was!

Mendocino Coast is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Mendocino Coast, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Mendocino Coast hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
