"Could be better for the price"
I stayed in one of the 'Oceanview rooms with a tub' (their most expensive room) and was quite disappointed in the quality of the room. The views were spectacular and the room was large, but needed repairs. The toilet ran constantly unless you fiddled with the buttons on the wall, there was a pool of water under the toilet at all times, the light in the shower was burned out and the screen was torn down the side. For the price of the room, you would think they would be able to keep up with routine maintenance. They also double charged my room deposit and when I checked out, they informed me of a $ 10 per night 'resort fee', which is laughable, because the amenities at the hotel (wifi, fitness center) are very poor excuses for amenities. There is NO reception in the rooms for cell phones or computers and we had to drive into Mendocino to get any cell reception. This is a good hotel, but with a little routine maintenance and attention to detail, it could be a GREAT hotel.

"beautiful room overlooking the ocean"
only one bad thing to comment on was that there is a fog? horn that blows every 30 seconds for the fishing boats; so we had to close the sliding glass door to sleep. With the door closed you could not hear the horn. otherwise the room was spacious and extremely comfortable.

"Worked for us"
We stayed 3 nights. Great breakfast meals, nice to sit at large table and socialize with other guests. Friendly staff. We messed up the curtains and one of the staff members came in and instantly fixed it. If you want to save some money it's good enough. Close to trails along coastal cliffs...stunning scenery.

"Two Night Stay"
Hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking. Check In was efficient and Patrick was very friendly and knowledgeable, especially when we were chatting at breakfast. Had a King Bed Room, with balcony overlooking the harbour which was very pleasant, catching the afternoon and evening sun. Room was large with plenty of space for luggage and had small wardrobe/clothes hanging area. Bathroom was a good size with over bath shower, plenty of hot water and flow was OK. Medium-sized bath towels, face cloths, hand towels and toiletries. Room and bathroom were clean. King bed had a comfortable mattress and soft linens. Room was reasonably quiet but could hear traffic noise from the 101, although not intrusive for us. Room had refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Wifi in room and throughout hotel had good strength. Breakfast was included in our rate which was OK, freshly cooked pancakes and biscuits/gravy, the remainder being cold options. Hotel was within walking distance of Fort Bragg centre but we just walked across the road to Noyo Headland Park and down to the harbour. Would stay again.

Just needed a place to stay en route from San Fran to northern Cali. This was quiet and comfortable, just what we needed. It's like staying at your grandparents house.

"Nice quiet hotel"
The staff was excellent, the rooms are good and clean at a great price in the area. We just spent one night on our way down to San Francisco and it was perfectly located. Breakfast falls a little short, but the muffins were amazing!

Nice, clean, comfortable rooms with great ocean views! Within walking distance to Glass Beach. Complementary breakfast was sufficient with fruit and beverages available all day. Staff was exceptional. I don't think there is AC in the rooms, so take that into consideration if that is a need. Would definitely stay here again!

Mendocino Coast is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Mendocino Coast, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Mendocino Coast hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
