The entire reason for choosing this hotel was for the pool and hot tub. I called the property the day prior to our stay as well as the day of the stay to request early check in. Both calls I inquired that the pool and hot tub were available, was told yes. Arrived at the property to check in and was told the pool was closed because of the water being cloudy. Due to the pool being closed the hot tub was as well. Front desk said that maintenance should have it up and running later in the day. Got checked in to our room and settled in. Inquired with the front desk about the pool around 4 pm and 6pm. Was told it was still closed. Napped in our room in the afternoon while housekeeping was still cleaning rooms near ours. They were slamming doors and being overly loud making a nap difficult. Decided to take a nice bath after dinner only to realize that there were multiple long black hairs in and around the tub and shower. Around 9 am I went and asked about the pool again. Was told they were hoping to have it open by noon. Even with a late check out time set for 1pm seeing it was noon and the pool was still closed we decided to just give up and check out so we could get home to relax. The hallways clearly had not been vacuumed. The outside trash was filled and overflowing out side out entrance door. Coffee maker in lobby was full of coffee grounds and not functioning until I asked the front desk if there was another machine. At least the air conditioning worked.

The hot springs weren’t hot. The water was warmer than a swimming pool but we went there to soak in hot spring water. Very disappointing.

Excellent location. Friendly staff at check-in. Room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and fresh. Breakfast staff was very nice and helpful. Would recommend.
