The hotel was very nice for the most part. We paid extra for a Mountain View room and the view was amazing. Most of the outlets in the room didn’t work, and after 10PM to about 4AM the clubs next door and down the street made it near impossible to sleep with the loud music. Hotel staff were amazingly nice and friendly. Room was clean and apart from the outlets not working and the bathroom mirror light not working, the hotel itself was great.

Very centrally located. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Room was chic if you didn't look too closely. Because then I noticed certain outlets and lights didn't work, the shower was either scaling hot or freezing cold with poor water flow. And thinks like the shower and bathroom door closed or was designed poorly and seems to kind of be slapped together. The downstairs cafe was very convenient and was tasty.

A Thoughtful Hotel in the Heart of the Nightlife

I probably should have done some more research to realize that this hotel is in the heart of the Provenza nightlife and so the loud music blaring from the clubs next door made sleep impossible. I booked for 4 nights but had to check out after the first night. The rooms are very nicely appointed with modern décor and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are, however, quite small, as is the safe for your belongings. There is no microwave or mini fridge. I arrived early and the room was not ready so I asked them to store my bags while I got some food to eat. I was glad they offered this service as I have come across hotels that do not allow you to store your bags with them. However, when I arrived again after 3, my room was still not ready. I was a bit annoyed at this but they were able to provide me with another room within 10 minutes. The other room did not appear to be the superior room I had paid for but I was really too tired to argue about it. I just wanted to get some food and go to bed, which I did. Somewhere around midnight, I awoke to the loudest music one could imagine. I understand this was new year's eve but I wondered how in the world anyone in that club could tolerate music being that high. It was almost as if I was at the location dancing the night away. The booming music continued to around 4 AM when it stopped. Relieved, I thought I would finally be able to get some sleep. An hour later it resumed at a lower level but I was still unable to go back to sleep.
