Rooms smelled musty. I bought a freshener. New rugs were clean and modern. Staff was nice. The portable air conditioner is fine but it takes up a lot of space. You should let the guest know the pool is closed.

We had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back! The cabin was absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, cozy, and surrounded by peaceful forest views. Having lake access made our stay even more special, whether it was relaxing by the water or taking in the quiet scenery. One of the highlights was the spa. The sauna, cold plunge, and wellness spaces were the perfect way to unwind after spending time outdoors. Everything about the property encourages you to slow down, disconnect, and enjoy nature. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful cabins, lake access, and wonderful spa amenities, Vanderkamp is the perfect destination. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our next visit!

Beautiful property on the shores of Cayuga Lake.

Had a great stay at Dorm Hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms and very close to Cornell Campus. Only issue was parking lot-difficulties maneuvering in such a tight spot.

The property was fine but definitely a bit run down. Room had a visible area where rodents had previously entered from outside (it had been patched but not painted). Couches had visible holes, rugs showed signs of accident bleaching and furniture had stains or broken handles. Wifi password needed to be redone on a daily basis and room key access expired after a day. Finally, for some unknown reason, the hotel has a policy of providing maid service every 3 days (this info was texted to me shortly after checking in). The beds were comfortable and room was large with a nice sitting room. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, a perfectly fine stay in a slightly run down hotel.
