There are no lights or visible signage at night so finding the hotel was very difficult. Once I did find it, the lighting leading to the lobby area was also dim or nonexistent. It actually felt a little scary. Once I was in my room, however, everything was fine. The next morning, when I could see better, the hotel appeared to be in fine shape, but the lack of lighting at night was definitely problematic.

Wonderful place to stay! Everything was clean, peaceful and quiet. The first hotel I've stayed at where I didn't hear doors opening and closing all night. Staff was very nice, pool and community areas were nice, and the coffee in the lobby was really good. Walking distance from almost anything you could want to do in Port Clinton. Will stay here again anytime I'm able to return.

Amazing!! Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! As promised, it was clean and quiet. The owner was super nice, breakfast was too notch, & turn down service was a pleasant treat. My only suggestion, even though we had our balcony to sit on, it would’ve been nice to sit outside (ground level) on some lounge chairs to put up our feet and enjoy the atmosphere. But it’s just that, a suggestion. We will definitely be return visitors to this establishment next year! Thank you to everyone at The Anchor Inn who made our stay exactly what we expected it to be.

Everything was better than expected. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, the pool felt great, the staff was excellent, and the location was great.

Would definitely stay at this facility again.
