The hotel was overall good. It looks like it has two different hotels out together and we stayed on the more motel looking side compared to the lodge looking rooms. They were clean and comfortable. Small bathroom but the room size was decent. Would have been nice to have a table in the room. The pool and hot tub area was clean and the kids enjoyed the pool even though the water was either salt or heavily chlorinated. The breakfast was decent. The hotel is close to everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Friendly and kind staff made up for property shortfalls. Furniture rough, really old AC unit itself smelled bad, kicked out bad smelling air, made the room smell. Tried to open windows but the screens were bent. Bed and bath very clean, can tell people take pride in cleaning, much appreciated!

We stayed here for $150 a night, but the value just wasn’t there. The room was dated and had several maintenance issues—our shower drained very slowly, water pressure was low, and the in-wall AC unit was dirty. The bathroom corners and edges needed a thorough cleaning. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the outside of the property was well maintained. We appreciated the pet-friendly policy and the included continental breakfast, though the breakfast was very basic. Overall, the hotel felt more like a budget option that should be priced under $100/night. Unfortunately, we booked just a couple of weeks before our trip and options in Marquette were limited—this was the cheapest available at the time. It’s possible the price was higher due to late booking, but for the cost, we expected better room quality and cleanliness. In hindsight, we wonder if the only other similarly priced hotel might have been a better choice.

Old school stay in newer part of town
