"Treated right"
We were able to leave our car and luggage before check-in time that way we walked around Asheville. We received a phone call telling us we could check-in about half hour early. When we got to the hotel there was champagne or water waiting for us. Our luggage was in our room. Upon checking out we were given a bag with water and granola for the ride home.

"Clean and Comfortable"
We had an excellent experience at this Days Inn. The rooms have been updated, and ours was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to everything - shopping and restaurants. The closest restaurants are mostly well known big-chain restaurants, but the hotel is conveniently located near major highways and is just a short drive to downtown hot spots for dining and shopping. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Asheville. *I should note, however, that they were having issues with their wifi when we were there. Since I was on a family trip, this wasn't really an issue. However, if it had been a business trip, this might have posed some problems.

"Surprisingly nice Days Inn"
The hotel was spotless, maybe brand new? Ice cold AC, good location. My only real complaint is the bath tub did not have any mat or texture of the bottom surface and it was very slippery. I slipped while taking a shower... when I complained, they told me to put a towel down and step on that. Thanks.

"Nice Hotel in the Heart of Downtown Asheville"
My husband and I stayed here for two nights and were very happy with the hotel. It's an older hotel but very clean and in a great location. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful; one gave us terrific restaurant recommendations and another gave us great directions to get on the Blue Ridge Parkway from the hotel. The breakfast was good; offering hot and cold choices. And you can't beat the location--right in the heart of restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

These are much like resort condos. We had a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and gas fireplace. All told, it was much nicer than we had expected and the service was great. I can definitely see us staying there again.

"Easy, quiet, and a great free breakfast."
Stayed with 2 kids, loved that the pool was open late. The free breakfast had both hot and cold items. The room was very clean, great pillows, and quiet space. We were right by the elevator, but we didn't notice any noise.

"A lovely property and facilities. Felt unwelcome."
It is a wonderful business meeting local. But my husband and I were traveling on our own and it wasn't very cozy for a single couple. Unfortunately our miserable check in experience colored the rest of the trip. We arrived late evening and there was no one ahead of us waiting to check in. We waited for several minutes at the counter while Margaret, the clerk on duty, was on the phone. She made no sign of acknowledgment-- nod, smile, gesture of some sort, that she would take care of us as soon as she was free. She completely ignored us- wouldn't even make eye contact. After she finally got to us and gave us keys and room information she pointed out the location of the elevator with a comment about it often not working. When we got there it was not working so I went back to the desk to ask for information about an alternative - elevator or stairs. She was again on the phone and totally ignored me again. Not having much choice I waited for several minutes with no sign of acknowledgment that I was even standing there. Finally my husband found another hotel employee and asked for help. She acted like she never saw me standing but that was not possible since there was no obstruction between us. We felt very unwelcome.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Marion hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
