Perfect for families & couples

Everything was great! We had a 3 day stay at this hotel and overall was an excellent experience. The location was perfect & centrally located in Marathon, great breakfast options each morning, nice pool & fun bar set-up. Had we brought our kids (it was just a couple trip this time) we also would have been very pleased, as they had a lot of kid-friendly accommodations through the hotel. My only doc for a star (and this is completely a personal preference) is that the pillows were very flat and not as comfortable for a multi-night stay, but that might not bother others. Friendly staff, clean hotel, clean rooms. We will be back!

Arrival and check in went very smoothly. Staff was friendly. Upon check-in, we found dirty sheets and the room had a heavy mildew odor. Front desk staff was kind and quickly moved us to a second room. This room was worse than the first. More dirty sheets with large black smudges, and large chunks of hair on the floor of the bathroom. Lower walls and baseboards were so incredibly dirty. I invited front desk staff up to see the room before they put us in a 3rd room. Third room had more large clumps of hair and dirty walls, dust blowing out of AC unit. We turned on the AC and 4 hours later it was still only 76 degrees. Went to front desk AGAIN and had them come up to see for themselves. They offered to move us to yet another room. We were literally shuffled from one dirty room to another all afternoon. Was told that there was no manager available until morning so I emailed her. Took pictures and video of all the rooms to share with staff but no reply until 3 days later. We cancelled our remaining days and moved on to another accomodation. Was very disappointed in this level of service and cleanliness in Hampton inn.

The hotel policy for clean towels and bed made is every other day. We checked in on Saturday expecting clean towels and bed made when we returned to room Monday evening. Neither. We called front desk and got more clean towels from Maria who apologized. We checked out Wednesday and never had our beds made. Despite this we still recommend Hampton.

Very concerned about safety. We were in a separate building from the main front desk and had the alarms go off in our section. We went to the main building to ask about it, and the gentleman working didn’t know anything about it and he didn’t understand what was going on when it was reported. I believe there was a major language barrier as he didn’t seem to know what was said.

What a nice stay! The hotel was clean, smelled wonderful, and was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The pool was lovely and we had a really nice stay. The front desk manager, Maria, was incredible. Extremely professional and lovely to work with. She worked as if she owned the property and we were her personal guests...top notched service.
