I was disappointed with my stay. First, the room I was given had an AC that barely cooled, so I had to request another room, which wasn't much better. When I checked out, the hotel kept my entire $100 security deposit because of one towel that had makeup on it from removing my makeup. I understand I signed an agreement about damages, but keeping the full $100 over a single towel seems unreasonable. If anything, charging for the cost of one towel would have been much fairer than keeping my entire deposit. I'm very disappointed with how this was handled.

This was exactly what we were looking for and then some. Very spacious and quiet (tough commodity to find in Tucson). Walking distance to the Rialto theatre, etc.

The room was very hot and I turned the wall A/C to the lowest setting and left and came back and room was still hot. Had to buy a fan. The water for the shower and sink was scalding hot. They have a sign that said they don’t have cold water but boiling hot water coming out of the shower is not acceptable. Mariah was very very rude and dismissive when I went to voice my concerns. Her first response was well you’re only staying one night anyways. I was staying 3 nights but that should not matter. She said I can’t do anything for you and I’ll call maintenance tomorrow. That was her response no I’m sorry or let me see if there’s another room or any other typical customer service sayings most people would say. Had to leave that night due to my disabled son not tolerating the hot room and couldn’t even cool him down with a cool shower. When I checked out Mariah was again rude. She asked for my room number and after I told her she said you’re checked out as she walked away towards the bar holding 2 bottles of wine. I asked her if I needed to do anything, she said nope BYE! With her back towards me. Now she did this in front of other guest that were in the lobby/bar area. I felt humiliated and very angry at how I was treated with such disrespect. Hotel McCoy do better with how your staff treats your guests. I give Mariah zero stars. I called the next day to let management know and he was apologetic and issued me a refund.

Clean and quiet

The property is beautiful, in a beautiful area and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed our stay. It was relaxing and we had everything we needed. It was a great stay.
