"Old, period hotel in a great location"
Very good in general. Only complaint was the room was a little warm at night. Right in downtown Durango with interesting restaurants and brewery's nearby.

"Close to river and Applebee's!"
We brought our dogs, there was a lot of walking and pet friendly paths. We were able to nap with the kids and there was lots to do since we had the option of the pool and being close to nature/parks for picnics! The people were friendly and many families stayed here. Hot tub was nice for the end of the day. We enjoyed, the local grocery stores which had fresh veggies and snacks other than fast food. Albertsons & city market are within walking distance. I liked the location just for that reason!

"Cool place, amazing view!"
I've got nothing bad to say about this place. It's a bit older, but has an interesting layout with a very nice pool area in the central courtyard. Huge community room where they serve breakfast with an expanded selection compared to most places I've stayed. Nice, large rooms and the one we had looked right out at Mesa Verde where we had just been. Really kind of a cool place with several places to eat within walking distance.

"Just OK, nothing to write home about."
When we walked into the room, it was decidedly cool. It was snowing outside, despite being late May. We adjusted the thermostat on the wall and nothing happened. Called the desk and was told we had to set the thermostat to 50 and then adjust the air conditioner in the wall. It had both heating and cooling settings. That worked. The hotel is on Highway 550 so there was some street noise. Overall it was comfortable and the continental breakfast was satisfying. If we need to got to Durango again, I would consider staying here.

"Nice hotel in Downtown"
Nice staff, easy check in and check out. Excellent service by Gina at breakfast room. Also, at check in I requested a room facing the indoor pool and they did the change.

"Top notch Best Western!"
I was complimentary upgraded to a suite room with a balcony that overlooked the hills when the check-in lady found out I was traveling for my birthday. The continental breakfast was super good and not your average cold food. Very dog friendly and they have excellent grassy area to walk your dogs with plenty of potty stations with bags. Close to downtown.

"Decent stay for a decent price "
We were there Fri-Sat night for soccer tournament. We booked this months ago, luckily, because the prices everywhere for this tournament were sky high, but we got a decent price especially considering what our teammates paid. PROS: Check in was quick and competent, but not particularly welcoming. We stayed in room 102, it's quite close to the lobby/breakfast area, ice & vending machine but it was surprisingly quite considering they were fully booked. You could hear some occasional creaking footsteps from the hallway above so if your sensitive to that stuff, try for a higher floor. The room was newly painted and had modern furniture and linen. We actually got 4 pillows per bed instead of the usual 2 flat ones. Breakfast was sufficient for a "continental", dry cereal, toast, apple/orange/bananas, oatmeal, yogurt, prepackaged pastry, coffee, juice and a make your own waffle station. The attendant was really attentive about keeping it well stocked. Microwave, fridge, one cup coffee maker, blow dryer and iron in room. CONS: The AC didn't work that great. It got pretty warm overnight and we had to open up the window in addition to having it on high. If the weather had been warmer this may have been a really big deal. The window of this room (and all even number rooms) faces the main road and the sunrise and the curtains did not keep all the light out, so if I had really wanted to sleep in that may have been an issue. Couldn't really use the WiFi - too slow. We spent mo

Mancos is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Mancos, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Mancos hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
