"Excellent guest relations."
What I love about them the most is their staffs. Their guest relations is just impeccable! They really make you feel special, valued you as their guest & they are very much accommodating and attentive. We stayed for 5N/6D in Garden Villa & it was beyond my expectation, very spacious & grand on its own that to my liking, we didn't opt to upgrade to Water Villa anymore.

"nice hotel, perfect setting, suprisingly good food"
so this being the first all inclusive holiday ive ever been on, i was pleasently surprised. all inclusive means buffet dinner every night- and i thought i woukd get bored of it; however they have different themes every night the barbeque night was my favourite! with barbeequed chicked serfved just away from the main resturaunt on the sand. they always had a local/traditional option or two in the main resturaunt which were quite delicious! if you fancy a change however there are lots of other options available at extra cost including private dining, water villa dining, beach barbeque with fresh fish/shellfish or even a romantic lobster dinner. there is a seperate resturaunt - cafe mass which offers an ala carte menu which is ok - and of all the bars on the island be sure to visit sunrise bar. it is the most out of the way, and so the least busy, but right on the sea, and there is a perfect breeze there always. i would reccomend that your villa is either numbered 300 upwards or 178 downwards then the beach outside your villa will be majical, and youve. no need for a daily walk to the main beach by the pool, you can just use your own bit of beach as if it were your own! we stayed in 209 and the beach here was difficult to walk on as it was littered with broken bits of coral. not that we tried, but i heard from other guests that this was were the best snorkeling was to be had, and we did see rays, and baby sharks whikst walking home along our beach.

"Cheap and convenient place."
The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Ungoofaaru is a very hosting place, where you have a chance to be a part of the Maldivian community. The citizens are open-hearted and friendly. The options of facultative activities are limited only by your imagination (and your wallet). The prices are much lower then in resorts and the restaurants serve the local food in local prices. The only disadvantage is the condition of the beach, which is gently said horrible (loads of plastic bottles and other trash :-(

"Gorgeous island and private villas"
Cannot say gorgeous enough. Privacy was wonderful. Staff were unbelievably nice and helpful. Beach and sea, right outside the villa , were fabulous. Nice gym and complimentary basic yoga in the morning and free snorkel equipment. Some buildings need some maintenance attention, including pool, which was closed while we were there, though staff compensated with a romantic lobster dinner on the beach, which was superb. Super time and totally relaxing. Great place for sunrise and sunset. Awesome beach and sea! Need to restock alcohol, as no rum or white wine or wine by the glass, and bottle of wine expensive. Great happy hour though with two for one drinks. Complimentary water and AC was working great. No mosquitos either as they spray.

"Water Villa with Pool"
The resort has only been open since 10 March and even though the staff and hotel are working things out it was brilliant The chef would ask us every day how our food was We would eat on tables in the sand on the beach next to the sea Our water villa with pool was immaculate and the sea view was amazing from our room The housekeeper would come and clean our room twice a day we told him no to just once is enough The staff were very personable and polite and new which room we were in and who we were by the end of our trip It's just a tiny island we walked around it in 30mins Awesome loved it will go again hopefully to get married or for our honeymoon Or even get a job on the resort!!! 🤣

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Maamigili Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
