Even though it advertised breakfast , there was never anything there, not even coffee . I got this stay through Expedia , for my son who was there after a work trip.. I could never get in touch with anyone at the desk, and because he got called away early, Expedia was willing to take the last few days off my bill , but could never get in touch with anyone in charge to verify any information, we tried for days and could not get in touch with anyone to help! I was calling from out of town and kept getting hung up on! Nobody returned any messages or called back. Expedia was still trying to help through emails, but still waiting for info on that! How can you run a business and not answer the phones?! So I am having to pay for a room that we didn’t use, for 3 days, Not pleased with them at all. Room was ok.. the employees were not up to any standard and the owners or managers.. were awful! Not taking care of business st all!

I appreciated that the property was located next to the beach. However, the room did not meet my expectations. The Expedia listing highlights the Beach House, the large building facing the Gulf of America, but it does not mention the older facilities on the east side of the property. The common areas around the pools had standing water and debris. I stayed in room 1013, which had standing water at the entrance. Inside, the floor had a hole that also collected water. The room's quality was comparable to that of a budget motel. While the pools were nice and the whirlpool was warm, the Expedia site indicated that booking a fourth night would include complimentary loungers and umbrellas, but the front desk informed me that this information was incorrect.

I stayed for 3 nights, and the bed was only made once, which wasn't great. There are no activities for kids, and that's the only thing missing.

This place is just creepy and inefficient, which is ironic because they think they are being “creative and forward thinking”. In short, this is what a hotel would be if AI created it with out any human influence. First of all there is not a living soul working at the place. No front desk, no people at all. They indicate they will send you a “door code” thirty minutes prior to your check in time and a front door code as well. However, I never received it, and had to call after hours to get it and of course only AI answered, and was zero help. A guy (45 minutes later) apparently was alerted and I was finally sent my room code. Apparently (according to my Uber driver) the building was a church that someone purchased in order to to make it into a chic place to stay. Like most of these ventures the rooms are forced and have no natural light flow or lighting other than lamps. The decor throughout the building is ok at first glance, (many books and board games and hanging chairs etc) but it became very obvious that despite the attempt To arm warm, homey and inviting, it’s in fact a sterlile waste land of modernity. Again, it was if AI created this entire place and is now wondering “why don’t people love me?” It’s because it’s all fake and lacks soul. Oh and the WiFi didn’t work and the restaurant that was suppose to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner was never inhabited by a single person. In fact, I never saw a person on the property at all but me. They don’t have a pool
