I booked this property over others for the fact that it had a hot breakfast, as advertised, and a fitness area, as advertised. Upon arrival I learned that the pool, and fitness area were closed and under construction. By the looks of it, it has been under remodel for a while. This was not expressed in the profile. When we got up the next morning and went down for breakfast, we learned that it is in fact, a continental breakfast. No hot breakfast was to be served. There are even artwork pictures hung above the food area depicting hot breakfast items. Pictures on the profile and wording Said that there was a hot breakfast. The two main items that I booked this hotel for, ended up not being present. During the course of my 5-day stay, our room was overrun by ants. Front desk staff told me that there were no maintenance people on staff presently and they could not do anything about it but move us to a different room... But unfortunately there were no other rooms. Additionally, key cards to the rooms would deactivate every time we left our room. I had our key cards redone six times. Although this was not the worst stay I've experienced at a hotel, it was pretty bad.

Upon arrival sign on door stated pool was closed, that was one of the reasons we stayed there so our grandson could swim in the pool. The first room they gave us didn't have curtains, so we had to move to another room. WiFi sucked. Remote for TV didn't work. Tuesday morning stale cereal and waffle batter was spoiled so we had to buy breakfast the remaining two days of our stay. Wednesday, we returned to our room we didn't have a bathmat, towels, cups or coffee. Went down to desk to get towels, laundry wasn't done we had to use hand towels to dry after our shower. The facility was not full, saw very few people.

Beyond pleased 😊

This was the second time we’ve stopped here this year. It’s the perfect halfway respite between our home town and our destination. Very clean and comfortable. We will tag this as a regular stop on other trips.

The lady at the front desk, who was brand new and left all alone, was the only member of the staff who actually tried to give customer service. I commend her for not walking out, honestly. My room had not been cleaned before we were assigned to it. Not ideal when arriving with children for a cheer competition, but fixable. No, they had no cleaning staff on site to clean while we went to dinner. Instead i was sent to another room across the hall, which was occupied! I go back to the desk, get ANOTHER room, that's ALSO OCCUPIED!! On the fourth try they got me in a room that was clean and not in use. I was not comfortable staying, but i didn't have another option. When i was finally able to speak to a manager the next morning, i got a list of excuses for all the insanity. The insult to the injury was that the whole reason we stayed there to begin with was for the pool and it was closed. I had checked the reviews and information ahead of time, it was not noted even though the signs on the doors were clearly not new. The manager did end up giving us a small discount for the trouble, which continued later in our stay, but initially tried to use us having booked through Expedia as a reason he wouldn't be able to do anything for us. The only redeeming part of that stay was having dinner at DJ's steakhouse bar and grill across the exit.

Hotel was overbooked. We had booked 2 rooms for my wife and 4 kids. Because there were no adjoining rooms we ended up booking just one room. It worked out ok but kind of disappointed.

Perfect Oasis

We had driven through the night from KC. No sleep. We did a little sightseeing in the area. Our check in time was 3 pm. We were so exhausted. At 1:00 we went in to see if we check in early. The room had just been cleaned. Everything was clean, fresh smelling. The mattress and pillows were perfect with crisp bedding. We slept for 4 hours. Found a local place for dinner. Slept 9 more hours. It was a lovely, restful

1st room we were given, the tub was horrible. It looked like it had not been cleaned in days. We were moved to another room, it was fair. The lamp shades and curtains had stains and the toilet seat was loose. The pool and gym were not open for use. Breakfast was a joke, there were only a few items offered. There was hardly anyone around if you needed something and you couldn't call from the room, the phones were not working.
