Evergreen Laurel Hotel

8 Place Georges Pompidou, Levallois-Perret - Map
Four night stay in a superior room on the fourth floor which was spacious and had a very good view over the Place Georges Pompidou. Lots of amenities in the vicinity and about fifteen minutes by foot to the main market area of Levallois-Perret. One really must acknowledge the effort the City Council puts into keeping the city clean -including daily vacuuming. The hotel itself was very quiet and if there was noise it was mainly from guests rather than outside although our room was relatively quiet - just the odd plumbing noises. The carpets on this floor were in need of a clean, both in the public areas and in the bedroom (several stains that looked as if they had been there a while). Saying that however, we would choose this hotel again because of the spaciousness and quietness of the room and the hotel's location. The staff on the baggage section staff were especially helpful, as was one of the reception staff - some require more training in customer focus and friendliness. Breakfast was not included in our package and although we paid the extra 19euros/pp per day and tried it twice because of convenience, we were not that impressed with the offering (especially the beverages - very watery tea and coffee). Staff in this area may require additional training in meeting, greeting and providing service. Overall, the hotel was good value for money and our experience was good: we are people who appreciate good service and for 4* there is room for improvement.

"Boris V - Comfortable, Convenient and Good Value "
Boris V is a small boutique hotel. Our room was comfortable, good size, clean and appropriately appointed. The "V" in Boris stands for the hotel's namesake - Boris Viand and should not be confused with the number 5 as in George Cinq! Boris Viand was an un-classible French author, jazz performer and composer with an interesting history (Somewnat of a Jack Kerouac but French!). The decor of the hotel is in line with Boris Viand's Jazz background. Of note is the "pianococktail" piano in the lobby. Wiki Boris to find out more. The breakfast provided was the typical French continental style and quite nice.

"Nice hotel, lovely staff, really good area"
The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable (including room and bathroom) — no air-conditioning but they'd supplied a fan in my room (although not my father's!); the few small glitches were sorted promptly and politely when I asked about them. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast not included in room price but fair value and delicious (bread, croissant, mini pain au chocolat, yoghourt, orange juice, choice of beverage). The hotel was in the Levallois-Perret area, just outside the western périphérique and north of the Bois de Boulogne; but with an excellent direct Metro connection straight to the centre (25 mins.) on line 3, with the stop just 3-5 minutes walk from hotel (there were also very good bus connections which we explored!). Area itself was a revelation, safe and friendly and full of great small shops (I counted 5-6 boulangerie/patisseries!) and lovely parks of all sizes — very child-friendly also. The hotel's little shady and green courtyard was a great bonus — a quiet and secluded place to relax and to picnic. The WiFi connection was good. I'd definitely go back.

"Good hotel given how close it is to the centre"
More of a hostel than a hotel- a bed and wet room, but no kettle, etc, but otherwise perfectly adequate room. Bit small, but then it is fairly cheap and near the centre of Paris. Quite noisy when the front door is opened or anyone comes up the stairs- the street outside can also be noisy. 1/2 hour to Eiffel Tour by metro, estimated 1/2 hour walk to Arc du Triomphe. Only one parking space at EUR12 a day, so do book in advance if you need it (on street parking free at weekends). Wouldn't recommend if you are planning on driving to most places- get somewhere further out from the centre. We had a three day stop over after being elsewhere- did one day driving out, but mostly parked the car and metroed in. Good location if you are on public transport only. Staff were helpful.

Hotel very good- very good location and not too far from the City centre of Paris - good transportation also! However the receptionist was not very good- she didn't provide help regarding the charger and was unfriendly.

"Just for sleeping is ok"
Staying in the hotel is not really interesting, just to get back to the room and sleep is ok. The staff don't speak really good English. The area is not very good, just ok also.

"Convenient place to stay"
The room was newly renovated and the kitchenette was very helpful. Everything was compact and function. The bath was very clean and the shower beautiful (if a little on the small side). I liked it so much I extended my stay and would recommend it to others.

"Great hotel just outside of Paris"
I stayed here for 3 nights with my brother while we were visiting Paris, and we absolutely loved it. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and it's in a great location. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Paris with American-style amenities and English-speaking staff. They also offer a buffet breakfast which we ate every morning, it was delicious!

Levallois-Perret is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Levallois-Perret, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Levallois-Perret hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
