Fun get away

We were delighted with the quality of the room and the quality of the breakfast offered. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely recommend The Yankee Inn to friends and will plan to stay there again when we visit Tanglewood.

We had a two double bed room that was tiny. It was on the ground floor and the two windows were easily looked into. Windows had to be completely covered, so no air coming in. A prefab shower stall in which the glass door did not close so every shower resulted in a wet floor. An old air-conditioner that no longer worked was covered with a couple of doors, instead of being removed. The place to have breakfast required a long walk from our room, in another building. I hated my stay here. I would have done better at Motel 6.

Wonderful experience!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay. The staff (George & Jenn) were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast inclusion was nice to have as well as water, coffee & hot water availability in the lobby 24hours. The breakfast room and bar were under renovations & soon to open. But there was no noise or evidence of work related to our stay… well managed!

Good stay with a few issues

Food options for the breakfast included with our 2 night stay were the same both mornings. Breakfast Sausage but no bacon. Paper coffee cups were very small. Maid changed out our wet towels and that was it. Trash not removed and bed not made up. Very spotty Internet service on 3rd floor. Kept dropping out while my husband was using it. Worked fine in lobby and on the second floor. Price included a balcony with two nice chairs and a small table. Was nice to sit outside surrounded by trees and see the Berkshire hills in the distance. We did not use the two pools or hot tub indoors.

Have stayed here multiple times. Staff is always excellent and convenient for our purposes. Rooms are clean. Bed and sofa firmness could be a bit better (but have experienced worse in various places).

The friendliness and excellent service received from the staff. While we stayed at the Yankee, we expected a delivery from UPS and the staff at the registration ensured that we would be informed as soon as it arrived at the Yankee. There was a delay from UPS and it caused us some stress. The Yankee staff made sure we were kept informed of the delivery. Their concern was greatly appreciated. Thank you.
