Leesville Vacation Packages

I would of given a 5 star...but when I arrived my reservation was canceled. I arrived 15 mins after 3. Even though when I booked i compose pay at property.

The owners are very friendly. My room was cozy. My only complain was a gap at bottom of the door. I covered it with rolled up paper towels. Not a big deal. The casinos maybe 10 15 minute drive from here. Not bad at all. If i come out here again this is where i will stay. Now if you all boushie. This is not the place for you.For work travel or two night stay. It is good. Heck i stayed here a whole week.

The hotel, it's staff and their service were all excellent. Hotel needs a few updates but they appeared to be addressing that part as elevator upgrades were in progress. No complaints. I'd recommend to anyone staying in Alexandria.

First it was hard to find because apparently they are changing the name. Next, thought I was walking into a lobby, nope raw drywall and some desks gathered together as the front desk, no finished walls, junk everywhere, no signs and no warning about any of this when I booked or the 100 dollar deposit they want on top of the room cost that wont be refunded for up to 15 days. Took a shower and realized all they give you is a 2x3 pouch of shampoo conditioner mix that was hard as hell to get open by hand and a tiny little bottle of body soap. Not enough to clean a normal sized human. I think there was only one elevator right in middle of the flop house lobby that you have to walk through to get to rooms which is just depressing. I would never book a hotel like that and the images they show when I booked is a finished hotel. I will say the room was decent but if your the type that is looking for a friendly comforting environment, this is not it. Its total false advertisement, there should be a note when booking that this place is not finished and we are cheap as hell on amenities and one more thing, we charge a higher deposit than most higher end finished hotel chains. Stay away unless you planning on checking in and not checking out...

We stayed in the Commissary. Very interesting old home from 1820 but the property (or at least, the care taker's position) has recently changed hands, so you'll see why the "breakfast" portion of "B & B" is not available right now. No other guests were staying the evening of our visit, so the caretaker gave us a tour of the house, and even let us see the attic. It really is just like the Loyd Hall website states...that there is no one else in the home, in terms of staff members, and if you book one of the inside suites, you will be alone in the house. Very quiet, peaceful setting. We were very comfortable in the Commissary.
