The entire staff is excellent! The Inn has a wonderful charm to it. We recommend eating on the Porch at least once. All the food was delicious but that Monte Cristo sandwich was next level.

Mount Dora, a place that steals your heart. What a historic and special place, with large moss-draped oak trees and acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and to top it off, the mesmerizing Lakeside Inn build in 1883, What a timeless setting, a place where you feel like you are in the movies stepping back in time, the oldest continuously operating hotel in the state of Florida and the last of the grand victorian era hotels still remaining in Central Florida. Thank you for the beauty and the peace we found in you! The memories we made there are unforgettable and we will cherish them forever.

This time we had dinner elsewhere but their restaurant is great, noticed on previous visits. We'll have breakfast in the Beauclaire again tomorrow and I'm sure it will be as good as ever. As two seniors we appreciate that we were given a room with few steps to navigate.

The Lakeside Inn is so historic built in 1883 and one of the historic hotels in the US. Quaint with a lot of charm. Right on the Lake with gorgeous views and walking distance of the town with lovely shops and eateries. Claire’s Creperie was fabulous in the town for breakfast. We had a double bed suite but the room configuration was odd with the sofa bed in a separate room only accessible via the bathroom, meaning the bathroom had two doors to it. If you are looking for a relaxing place outside of the madness of Orlando would recommend for a couple of nights.
