Great spot to stay - but I had to book an extra night on the front side of my trip as my girlfriend would be arriving a day early. I didn’t book the upgraded room by accident. However, when talking to staff they assured me she would just have to pay the difference and then we could keep the same room so she wouldn’t have to check in/check out. When she arrived, they wouldn’t let her do upgrade the room. It was we still an amazing stay in the enjoyed it lots.

The resort is a beautiful and cozy sanctuary. The people around me were very friendly and attentive. 5 stars. I recommend this place if you want a more private, family oriented experience. The resort entrance is a good .5-1 mile from the public street, booking a transportation with them is a better option for transportation if you’re not planning to drive. Also, No food deliveries were allowed. If you brought food from outside, you consume it inside your room.

Costabella super big bed!

The room was accommodating. Super large bed. Two queen beds attached with a double foam top to cover the seem. Had to switch the refrigerator out for a different one. Still didn't get our beverages cold. Elevator had no fans or airflow. Sometimes the Elevator doors will close on you while you walking in with your family. Make sure your kids get on first or they could get hit. No drinking water in our room. We had to purchase our own. The breakfast buffet was ok. Food was decent, not 5 star. Outdoor dinning only with the flies. Pools were nice, the beach was nice. We did the wave-runner for 30 the attendants for helpful and friendly. Front staff were friendly and got us cabs or tricycles when we needed to out.

This is our 2nd stay at Costabella and we love this small quiet oasis… from the beautiful beach, grounds, spa and spacious room. My Father had a medical emergency and the staff were attentive, and accommodating as our reservations kept changing… thank you for another great visit.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay in Costabella. We had beautiful views of the sea & surrounding properties from our bedroom. The room was spacious, clean and had modern conveniences. Staff were welcoming & polite. The food selection from the different menu options were satisfactory. The beach area was well maintained. We booked a day trip visiting different islands and snorkelling through the resort, and that was the highlight of our stay. The resort is a 30 minute ride from Mactan International Airport. There wasn't anything we disliked during our stay.
