"Best Hotel in Opatija"
If you are going to Opatija this is the best place to stay. I have stayed in other Opatija's hotels and Ambasador is far superior to any others in this little town. Food is excellent, staff are very attentive, choice of two swimming pools and a private beach is what makes this place extra special. You don't have to worry about sudden rain, as a specious indoor pool area will make up for it. Wellness, fitness, evening entertainment are all additional facilities this hotel offers. I will definietly be coming back to Villa Ambasador.

"Excellent, elegant hotel with a sea view"
It is a "belle époque" hotel in a spa with nice sea view from the balcony. The parks are across the street, promenade along the sea is nearby. The whole facility is renovated and well kept, the cafes and restaurants in working distance. The only remark - the breakfast could be improved.

"Best hotel in Rijeka"
Bonavia is a fine and efficient four star hotel. On the positive side, the Internet access via Wi-Fi was very fast, the room was very clean, the air conditioning (in spite of 90F) was very efficient, the front desk service was very courteous and efficient. The breakfast that was included in the room rate was standard European breakfast (served in four star European hotels), and the room rate was reasonable. In spite of being located in the center of the city (superbly located), the area is remarkably quiet. On a downside, like most (non-American) European four star hotels, there is no doorman to assist you with your luggage (you will have to carry your luggage ten steps up to the lobby since there is no ramp for the handicap guests), lobby is diminutive, parking (surcharge) is on the public street and may be a challenge to find a parking spot. The garden restaurant caters exclusively to the bus tours (for dinner) and it is off limits to individual gusts. I was offered a table inside a completely empty room that was obviously not acceptable to me. My recommendation is to ignore the restaurant all together. There was no extra electrical outlets in the room or bathroom to charge your Iphone, shaver, or a laptop computer (you must unplug the standing lamp). If you adjust your expectation, you may enjoy staying there. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

"Great hotel across road from beaches"
Do yourself a favour and do a day cruise. Islands nearby with aqua clear water and swimming are fantastic. Great little restaurants around the town and easy to jump on a bus to Reijeka for the day. Some strenghuous walking trails.

"Don't book this hotel based on the photo used!"
We simply did not believe that this was the same hotel we had booked when we arrived. It is set on the busy high street, surrounded by a ground floor café with very little uninterrupted green space. In fact the 'old' hotel is dwarfed by a large modern extension which you cannot see in the picture used to publicise this hotel. I imagined an old family run hotel. In fact it is 96 beds and run by a large chain. I had imagined sitting in a garden but in fact all of the space is taken by sunbeds ( which have to be reserved and paid for) and chairs for dining. Having said all this it is a lovely hotel set next to the sea so we made good use of the concrete bathing area used by the locals to swim from and sunbathe on. It is set beside the Lungo Mare- a 12 k path which hugs the coastline and is very romantic to walk between villages along the coast. The room was large and spotlessly clean. We paid for a superior with sea view. Many of the rooms overlook a park or the busy main road. There are no tea/coffee making facilities apart from a coffee machine ( expresso) and no milk provided. I argued strenuously for teabags ( to be used with hot water generated from the coffee machine) and cups and milk and this was agreed in principle and successful on one day - but staff did not provide tea/coffee on a daily basis and I simply gave up trying to get them to understand the agreed arrangement. The wellness centre offers a small pool which is only partly opened to the air.

Lanisce is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Lanisce, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Lanisce hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
