I have stayed at a dozen properties around Put In Bay and I can say without a doubt, the Anchor Inn is the best place I have found. Close to downtown, reasonably priced for the quality and service, cleanliness of the room and property, quality of the breakfast and food offerings, thoughtful touches throughout the room and lobby. This place has spoiled us for staying anywhere else on the island. High end toiletries and bathroom amenities, Nespresso machine in every room, bathrobes, slippers, towel warmers, turn down service with chocolates and drapes darkening the room, luggage taken to your room, amazing high quality breakfast. These are some of the features this property offers. There is also a golf cart rental across the street and you are only a block from the west end of town.

Cleaning staff was loud and obnoxious. The daytime greeter was very nice. The evening/weekend staff person was rude. We need coffee in our room!! Where are the coffee makers?? Breakfast was horrible! Where are the waffle makers? Please stop burning the link sausage. I could go on but why bother, nothing will change. I'll try the Drury next time.

It can’t be in a better location. Well maintained and a great view of the ballpark from our room.
