The room was nice and clean. We had a view of the parking lot which was not desirable. There were several wedding/ events going on people were screaming and clapping thru the halls after 1 am which was very disruptive. There was also a dog that wouldn’t stop barking. Had I know n this hotel was dog friendly I may not have stayed as I am allergic to dogs. In fact I woke up with my eyes a bit swollen this morning and maybe this is why. Another negative was the grounds this morning was covered in garbage laying all over outside from people’s parting. Why wasn’t this cleaned up. When you spend this kind of money for a room at what is supposed to be a higher end hotel, you would expect a little more.

Some of the rooms are updated. Ours was just painted but not modern. Staff was friendly. Pool area great. Faucets difficult to use- hot cold backwards. Walls very thin- could hear everywhere around us.

Shoddy room that stank with dubious stains on black couch. Soulless. Staff ok upon check in fine but could tell quickly place was half way through a refurb. Corridor carpets dirty exit areas near stairs smelt. Clubs or hair leaves and dirt in indoor pool. Crappy breakfast option and a general feeling that they need to hire another 20 people in order to provide and acceptable level of service and cleanliness. House keeping knocking on my door at 9am on check out after not seeing them at all during my stay. A perfect example of why when it comes to business just stick to the main chains. I can’t tell you how bad my room stank but if already checked in and unpacked, plus the lady had run down stairs to “check the room for me” as house keeping wouldn’t respond so she clearly thought it was acceptable. There was a time when places like this were lovely. Shame.
