Kingfield Vacation Packages

Place was beautiful and super clean. We used a couple amenities while there. The pool and hot tub, which were both at water edge and the views were spectacular. Our balcony had awesome view of water and we took advantage of it many times. We love to go to dinner each night on water but wasn’t in the cards as we enjoy a couple cocktails while dining and without local transportation like Uber or Lyft it didn’t happen. Taxi service was sporadic after speaking with both services there. Shuttle to town stops at 5pm so no help, town is very small and charming, the hotel should offer local pickups and drop offs for guests.

This property was gross to be honest, run down and stunk like mold/mildew. The room itself was very nice though. It was clean and recently updated such a stark contrast from everything else on site. There is no elevator or swimming pool. Plenty of food options and a grocery store right next store though. We did not try the continental breakfast though because I wouldn’t eat anything that was stored or prepared there. If they are currently fixing it up then maybe someday it will be a nice place to stay. Again, the room itself was great, everything past the door to our room was 1 star max.

Our 2 Queen room was spacious, and the beds very comfortable. The hotel was immaculate. We appreciated its convenient location, and also the fine restaurant dining. Staff were upbeat and helpful. We would certainly stay here again. Our only quibble is that there didn't seem to be any ice readily available, or an in-room safe.

Nice clean place, but one of the rooms was not how it was pictured. Instead of a queen, it had bunk beds. Water pressure was great upstairs but low downstairs in the bathroom. Also, ice maker didn't work. Great location

The ocean views were perfect

It was a very clean room, very cute. Breakfast was excellent and right on the grounds. We met the.owner and he told us the history of the facility. Parking was right outside your room.

Because of an Amtrak delay due to trees falling on tracks on July 9th, we did not get to Ellsworth for the night we booked our suite. I called that evening and informed Dede, a desk clerk. She later told me that she spoke with the manager but was not able to get me any refund. I paid $275 for nothing for that first night —we paid for 3 nights-but stayed only 2. The place was nice, but I would not return.
