Hotel was just outside of town, we paid 10-13 euro to go downtown. They have a restaurant/pub onsite. We were looking for quiet nights so this hotel was perfect.

Nice stay. A shame we couldn't pre book breakfast so went out the first day but second day we stayed in and paid at the adjoining restaurant for a nice buffet breakfast which our kids really enjoyed. Convenient and walkable into the town and well placed to visit the national park. Only downside was the family room was fairly cramped with the two double beds but not a major issue as we were out most of the day.

Extremely disappointed for the price

Overall stay was good. Waiter service in the restaurant at dinner time was terrible. We had the same waiter 2 of 3 nights we stayed there and service was terrible even taking into the account we’re not in America. Parking was an absolute nightmare. We weren’t even able to park at the hotel 2 of our 3 nights. For almost 250 euro a night I would expect to be able to park on property. Breakfast staff was great and on top of things.

Functional and clean

Our stay at this hotel was okay. We upgraded to a king sized bed which I would highly recommend. Our friends had a room with the single bed and double bed and it was tiny. A lot of coach tours stay at this hotel as well. The breakfast offered full Irish breakfast items but the food wasn't great. There were better places within walking distance of the hotel. It was nice that it was close to the main street but far enough out of town for a quiet night's stay.

What a pathetic room, it was a small room with carpet being wet ..it was smelly whole 2 nights . We asked them to fix it but they did nothing , could not walk on it barefoot. I am surprised that being a member with Expedia for years now .., that you even showed me this option ., I wasted $500 and my family was just so upset with the whole experience that shook my view of Expedia., may be my last vacation with you guys !! Very disappointing!!’

A reasonable stay

Car parking pretty chaotic - seemingly large vans and buses using it which blocked off spaces and the tight layout made it hard to get in and out. That said, on site parking was free and handy. Welcome was functional but could have been warmer. Carpets in the corridors and rooms were very stained and made it look a bit dirty. They are in need of replacement. Room itself was fine - pretty quiet. Was a bit out of the way in terms of restaurants, shops and bars. We did walk out for dinner but was a bit of a trek - although it was raining which didn’t help.

You get what you pay for. Beds were comfortable. Parking was a challenge. No temp controls so you had to open windows, which didn't have a screen, so bugs came in. We didn't try the food there.

Nice, clean place. Lots of tourist groups. Outside of town, but only a few minutes from the old town which has all the great pubs. There is a pub in the lobby. Breakfast is nice.
