Great stay

Really nice colonial looking place. The room we had was great, overlooking the pool. Staff were great and really helpful. The location was great, really central but really quiet as well. Only negative was that the room felt damp, our clothes always felt a bit damp when we got them out but we would go back.

Quiet spot but great location and within walking distance to Duval St and Mallory Sq. Continental breakfast included, two pools...plenty of chairs. Rooms also serviced daily. Would certainly recommend !

We really liked the location. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk to Duval Street. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the pool areas were really nice. We would stay here again.

Westwind was great. We arrived late and arrangements were made to get us into our rooms quickly. The room was quant and had a broken tile in the BR but had nice higher end products. 2pools. One heated, one not. Adequate continental breakfast. Lots of outdoor seating. Water station, pool towels and suncreen. Definitely would come back. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Duval and Wharf areas

Although the breakfast was nothing to brag about, it was adequate, and there’s a fresh bakery almost next door. The garden setting is their highlight. Parking is do it yourself, so beware of that. You could end up paying a few bucks for nightly parking unless you’re lucky enough to find a public one on the street, We’d stay again.

Clean, quiet and off the beaten path

Great one night stay. We arrived from an island two hours before check in and they let us register early, and the process was fast. It was quiet except for the rooster somewhere that woke me up at 5:30 am and would not shut up. Breakfast was good -not hot but we enjoyed the fresh juice and bagels plus local coffee. They let us store our bags so we could check out early and pick up luggage in the afternoon. Nice location maybe 1/4 mile from the hot spots everyone visits.

We asked to move rooms after finding the door to the fridge rusted through, rust on the lamps, caked dirt in the wicker furniture and mold and cracked tiles in the bathroom. They said they couldn't move us, but that the manager would contact us in the morning. They didn't. It was very cold that week and the room didn't have heat or weatherstripping around the door, so it was in the low 60s in our room. We had to run the very small dehumidifier for heat. There were old doors and patio furniture laying out on the ground outside our room. The staff was nice, and most of the grounds were as well. I liked the heated pool, but the room itself was not safe because of the rust and mold. Will not be staying here again.

We loved staying here. Great updated room, comfy bed, 2 pools, good breakfast. Staff were courteous & helpful. The thing that made Westwinds special was the garden area, just beautiful! Wish we could have stayed longer. No on-site parking, but there is a garage nearby.
