Place was clean and response is great when requesting for towels, cleaning, etc. parking was confusing and exiting from the garage takes too long when guests are checking out.

Booked a renovated room & it seems the only renovation was new carpet & some paint. Same old beat up furniture from the first time I stayed there in the mid 90s. I've stayed here several times over the years & it just seems there is an overall lack of maintenance, examples being 2-3 pools closed daily, took about 3-4 minutes to get lukewarm water in the shower & sinks, stains on the ceiling & curtains. Slots were extremely tight & the fire alarm went off at least once daily. Overall, not really impressed with the past few visits to the Rio. One bright spot was a housekeeper named Maria who does an excellent job and cares about her work.

Ran out of bathroom tissue and it took 3 calls to get some brought to my room
