Supposedly 4 or 5 star hotel. Friendly staff but the bathroom was dirty esp inside the bathtub scree - nobody cleaned there for decades. Absolutely hate when an expensive hotel uses cheap toilet paper. Little choice at the bar. Really disappointing!!!

I’ve stayed here numerous times over the years and it’s always been dated but clean. This time the staff were rude, the rooms were dirty as were the bathrooms and the dining room just felt unclean. This hotel needs a total revamp. I won’t be staying here again.

Please don't use the "war" excuse -- we experienced two other Jerusalem hotels during our stay, both with attentive people, clean facilities -- which this hotel doesn't have. Seems like they're on austerity -- the pancake maker doesn't show, so there's no pancakes. No one to help with the luggage. Room not spic and span clean -- old hairs in the bathroom. To their credits parking was easy.

Great value for money

Very comfortable hotel. Very good value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing with plenty cupboard and storage space and excellent bathroom. The hotel is large with plenty space to sit and relax and the breakfast and food is excellent. This is our second stay as we were also there in the summer and would definately go again.

We enjoy this hotel!!!!

We came here in the summer for a family wedding. The staff was very caring and helpful. Breakfasts were great, location amazing, and everyone enjoyed the stay. We just came back for another trip and so appreciate the staff. Housekeeping was a bit forgetful this time. We overall were pleased!

Disapointing all around

The Leonardo Plaza is a dated hotel and has been for too many years. Furniture in the bar area is dirty stained and furniture in the hotel rooms is scratched and old. The hotel needs an upgrade in all areas. The outdoor area is also quite dirty. Staff too need to be upgraded. When I arrived the two guys at the reception desk were fighting. And then one proceeded to tell me (I didnt ask) what was wrong with the other one. Really shameful.

Amazing food- everything else was disappointing

The view is amazing, when you arrive at the hotel you are greeted by a glorious lobby, everything screams fancy until you check-in and get to the room, the room is incredibly dated and i found it to be quite dusty too. The shower head was too low, (i am only 5ft11 and had to crouch to stay under is) The breakfast was amazing, one of the best hotel breakfasts around, it's a shame the rest of the hotel falls short as the food is really high quality. I believe based on the current condition of the hotel, they should either lower their prices or give the rooms and common areas some TLC.

Reasonably priced hotel in great location. Had to make my own coffee at breakfast. Later on when I was in the lobby at a meeting I ordered a coffee, it took 45 minutes for it to arrive and when I asked where it was the lady at reception was unapologetic.
