Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We were in the bottom floor. If you don't like noise above you. Choose a top floor. We brought our dog. They had a dog bed, bowls and treats for him. Very nice and thoughtful.

Room was clean and comfortable. Shower head fell off the first day but was repaired immediately after I told the front desk. Very noisy guests above us at 4:30 to 5:30 this morning. Not hotel fault. Jack ass people with no respect for others around them.

Older hotel and becoming a little run down , if you are are a light sleeper I would not recommend. You can hear noise from neighbouring rooms and odd noises coming from plumbing . Staff do try and the bed was comfortable if I only could have slept .

I mean the sheets were clean but the floors were not. I found the guest before us had left a used vape and dirty socks on the floor. Cleaning staff didn't take care of that before we took possession of the room. I notified front desk staff and they did nothing other than a passive apology with no follow through. I wasn't impressed as I have a 9 month old and that wasn't appropriate to find a vape of all things in the room.

My sister and I stayed at the Tonquin for a ski weekend at Marmot, and it had been quite a while since my last visit. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Because the hotel is an older building, the walls are quite thin, so I’d recommend bringing earplugs—especially if you’re staying during a busy weekend. It may have been louder than usual during our stay because there was a minor hockey tournament in town. Our room was also extremely warm the first night, even though the heat wasn’t on. The next day, we opened a window, which helped bring the temperature down to a more comfortable level. Overall, it was a decent stay with a few quirks to be aware of!
