We arrived and no one was at the front desk; our key and room number were in an envelope on the desk. We found the room and let ourselves in. The deadbolt would not latch and I called to see if it could be repaired - and was told that no one would come and that they never use the deadbolt which was placed there by previous owner. Although the Inn was mostly empty they would not move us to another room. They would give us a refund and we could try and find someplace else but assured us that Jackson was a safe community and the door handle lock was sufficient; after driving hours to get there we decided to simply lock the door handle and barricade the door.
The breakfast was great and the manager was friendly and helped with suggestions on what to see in the area.
The room was large and comfortable. Water pressure was poor (we were on top floor). Overall the Inn was okay if more self-service than we would like and that reviews led us to believe.
