"pool closure"
The pool was closed the first 2 days of stay and it was one of the main reasons I picked this hotel (the other being breakfast). One of the beds was extremely soft on one side. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff was helpful whenever we asked question (ie how far to airport/ fort knox)

"A place to rest, but not the Taj Mahal"
Not that I expected the Taj Mahal! I was in town for a couple nights without the rest of the family, and needed a place to crash while visiting my son at Fort Knox. This place fit the bill as it was inexpensive and conveniently located. However, I would not stay here with the rest of the family as the accommodations were spartan, small, and not the cleanest. While the room wasn't "dirty" per say, and I could smell the bleach when I got into the room, I left my shoes on, which is not the norm when I stay in hotels. While I don't consider myself a hotel snob, when on a family trip, I generally look for 4+ star ratings, and 90+% recommendation rate. This hotel fell a little shy of those benchmarks, but since I was a bachelor for the weekend, it wasn't a big deal. I cannot say anything bad about this hotel, but future guests should know what they are getting. If you're looking for a reasonable place to sleep, this is completely adequate. If you're looking for some additional amenities, you should keep moving.

"Overnight stay"
We stopped in for just an overnight stay while road tripping through Kentucky and we absolutely loved it. Even though it was raining it was still the perfect place to stop and rest after being on the road all day.

"Great Value and Very Clean"
We were visiting our our grand-kids at Fort Knox. Looked at this hotel and finally bit. Very close to Fort Knox. The stay cost 2/3rds the amount than a name brand hotel. A bit dated, but a great bargain!

"Very Nice Motel"
This motel room was spacious and clean and very affordable. It is located on a major highway, but we were not bothered by noise at all. We would definitely look to stay here again if in the area. It is very close to Fort Knox which makes it a great place to stay for family day and graduation.

"Comparable to a 5 star chain hotel"
Very friendly staff, from the front desk to the house keepers. $90.00 a night was a very fair price for staying there. My room was spotless. Bed was so comfortable. A shower with great water pressure, had a micro wave and a mini frig with a freezer. The t.v. had more then a couple channels to watch. The pool was awesome. There breakfast was really good. This is a privately owned hotel. For being privately owned it was the cleanest one I have ever seen. hidden gem. I would highly recommend it!

"Great place to stay"
I must admit, this was my first visit to a B&B, and the only reason for selecting this place was there were no hotels anywhere near Louisville. I only stayed one night for business, but that is all I needed. I was very surprised upon my approach to the house and amazed when the door was opened. What a great place, run by people that love what they do which transcends into excellent customer service. Next time I will be bringing my wife.

"Not great, not bad"
Hotel was accommodating when it can to the "breakfast". We were leaving early, and they allowed us to have breakfast. Tv remote would only turn on/off the television, it would not change the channel, not only in our room, but the adjoining room as well.

Irvington is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Irvington, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Irvington hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
