Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were in room 301 which had very tiny windows, as is the nature of a building of this ages, in some rooms. It was fine as we were out and about anyway but I mention it should anyone wish to know. All the staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. The reception team are very happy to help with anything they can. They recommend a tour to us, which we took and love it. In fact we enjoyed it so much we did another one during our stay. We were very grateful for the recommendation, it was with Jovana, there is information in reception. The breakfast was a great start to the day. There was options for continental, cooked, fruits, yogurt and pastries. Again the breakfast staff were very pleasant. The hotel is very well placed for the sights and restaurants.

Stayed at the Grand Habour view Sky suite for 3 nights. WiFi was not working on day 1, one of the bedside lamps was not working. AC could not be adjusted (only on/off). Like the space and the view, and the staff was very friendly and did their best to help, but the maintenance should be done much better.

We were surprised by the amenities, location, breakfast, and helpfulness of this hotel! We would recommend it to anyone wanting a wonderful place to stay while in Malta. They arranged all of our excursions and gave us helpful information. A great find!

This was an amazing find. The room was lovely and the view, spectacular. I cannot praise the staff enough. They were the most polite, friendly, engaging, and attentive people we could have ever expected to deal with. Now for the restaurant. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better -- the food!! We had dinner the night we arrived and it was brilliant. The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. The sauce with the sea bass was incredible. For breakfast the next morning, I could have taken five eggs Benedict to go. It was amazing. We will be visiting Malta again and this will be our home away from home. Beautiful location and nothing but wonderful memories!

Overall, there are several significant issues to consider, especially around security, billing transparency, and arrival logistics, although the property does benefit from a good location and strong potential if managed properly. The most serious concern is security. The building’s front door never locked properly and was consistently open, to the point where no code was required to enter. Billing is also an issue. Guests must pay taxes, cleaning, and extras through a separate link before arrival, but no proper receipt is provided. The amount charged did not seem to align with expected exchange rates. I had to press for a receipt and was given a partial refund without any way to validate the charges, and I still have not received a usable receipt. The total still seems high and there has been no meaningful response to clarify this, even after Expedia follow-up. Arrival was confusing. The address is buried in attachments, with conflicting versions provided, making the entrance difficult to locate. The shuttle service was unreliable. Despite booking one month in advance and reconfirming days before, no driver arrived. After waiting 30 minutes, I had to follow up and was then asked to search the airport for a license plate, which is not reasonable. It is also not truly door-to-door. Cleaning does not match the amount charged. There was dust, unclean bins, pigeon feathers, and crushed flies, and only one sponge and tea towel were provided for the kitchen.

Amazing location, very close to the main areas of Valletta. Plenty of restaurants in the area. The staff was very helpful, provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants. The only downside of the hotel was the breakfast. It was a little disappointing, the space (lobby area) can become very crowded and replenishment of food items can be quite slow.
