Looks can be deceiving!

First off the people at the front desk were very friendly. As we walked in the room first glance was great, it looked nice and smelled nice but we soon found out that looks can be deceiving. The air barely worked and it wouldnt get below 78 in the room the entire stay. The carpet under the air conditioner was squishy wet! I had to sleep at the foot of the bed so i could feel some air from the vents! My daughter went to shower and the removable shower head was hanging down and you couldnt hang it up because the place were its supposed to hang from was broken, so we had to purchase a zip tye from the nearby dollar tree to rig it to stay up. We told the front desk but nothing was done about it. My daughter then tried to blow dry her hair and the blow dryer didnt work but luckily the front desk had one to borrow. There was no shampoo in the in the shower dispenser. When we went to bed the sheets and pillow cases were stained! The swimming pool would have been nice but it was full of the flower booms from an over hanging tree! I would not reccomend this place. At the least we should have been offered a new room!

I made reservations online several weeks ahead of time for a room with double queen beds. When I got there, they had us in a single king bed which with 4 people is a huge no. The nice lady at the desk, which is the only reason I bumped this review up a star, got us switched and sent us up to the third floor. That floor was being painted so it was an instant headache, and the a/c in the room did not work. It was about 90 degrees in there. So we went back down and told her we couldn’t stay in there. So she moved us to another room on the second floor. The smell was better and the a/c was fine, but I would say a quarter of the floor was soaking wet, I guess from the a/c unit. We had to lay down towels so we didn’t get our feet wet. There was mold in the pictures on the wall, which I have pictures of. It was also in the corners where the vacuum didn’t reach. We made the best of it but it was pretty bad. The pool was nice though.

It was so packed in the parking lot and I was getting some things out of my car and a group of men are just standing around watching me closely, as a single woman it was very uncomfortable and scary. Why would a group of grown men just be hanging out in the parking lot?

Great Biking launch point

Motorcycle trip, trailered to ride several of the scenic byways AR has to offer. This facility is placed well for my trip. They went out of their way to accommodate me and my vehicle w/trailer. Great facility, comfortable and convenient. Definitely will stay again in the future.

Property definitely needs some updates. You can tell that many of the rooms used to be for smoking because despite whatever cleaner they use, you can still kinda smell it. It was very humid as well. I blame poor insulation of the building and the weather. Also wasn't happy that despite reserving a king bed, I got a room with two queens. Staff was really nice though, the only 5-star thing about my stay.
